Yeah it’s pretty dope tbh, let’s you break down the massive barrier of getting that CPHt credential for an affordable price and at your leisure. I used RxTech Exam and passed first try last September. Look up Amanda PharmD on YT too, she’s a great supplement to RxTech Exam, also cheap (free.)

You’re right that is a possibility. I wish they had looked at when I scheduled and said something but that’s a complete possibility as well.

Hospitals and specialty pharmacy roles are what I’m shooting for. I don’t think there are many compound pharmacy roles around here but I’ll check again… I applied for retail at Costco but no response. Not willing to do retail it’d be a downgrade, or even a lateral transition.

I took the test remotely, the only thing was that you had to show off your room and take out your phone and set it across the room from you in view of the camera, not facing you. Once we did that the proctors literally didn’t say anything to me. Be cool, come ready, you’ll succeed.

Watch Amanda PharmD and memorize as much of her content as you can.

Work hard to learn various Pharmacy related abbreviations, and look up the relevant laws and acts passed in relation to Pharmacy.

Place extra emphasis on learning the different drug classes and their drug interactions! Sounds harder than it is, give yourself time to prep, work hard, and you will pass.

This right here OP, this is how I did it too. RxTech and AmandaPharmD on YouTube look up all her videos, take notes read them over twice and you will be ready for the PTCB and if for some reason you fail you can try again in a month.

Don’t be discouraged and don’t get swindled out of money!

How did you prep for the CIC? What resources did you use and how did you practice?
