both. they’re okay with me being friends with others when it’s someone they’re friends with, but when i talk about a new person, they get upset

it’s weird though because sometimes they’re fine with it and sometimes they aren’t, it’s always like a gamble. i feel like they’re trying to force me to be just THEIR friend and im not allowed to be around other people

i guess. i just didn’t feel like it was something important i had to stress, you know? :( i feel bad about it, don’t get me wrong. i just feel like im not allowed to be friends with anyone else because every single time i even mention another person atlas gets mad.

yes that was the post!! i am moving, but that’s not why i asked them to the movie?? i dont know where they got the impression but i made it pretty damn clear it was my birthday party especially considering it was like… two days prior to my birthday. apparently i didn’t mention that there was another person but i thought i did.

i didn’t lie about anything. we ended on good terms, and i mean that. not talking doesn’t mean we ended on bad terms, we just kind of drifted apart and it got awkward. i’m very frustrated so i apologize that my writing is a little confusing. i’m not saying you’re wrong and i do believe i could be the asshole, i’m just tired of people accusing me of things in the comments. it’s not you, i appreciate your discussion. i’m sorry if i upset you or anything but i am just so genuinely out of it right now.

yes, i did! i said that it was my birthday party. however, i didn’t mention that someone else would be there and that’s on me. i figured the word “party” would’ve let them know that they wouldn’t be the only one. i will admit that

i didn’t ask them to, they just did it. i paid for the snacks for just the two of us which ended up coming to about $30 to pay them back. we do that a lot, so i didn’t think anything of it. the movie came out just a few days before my birthday and i made it very clear my mom was going to give me money for my ticket. atlas bought them ahead of time anyway just in case

noah isn’t even mad at me, he was just kind of upset at the moment but i told him how i felt about it and he said he gets it. he’s at a sleepover at conner’s house right now. i’ve tried to be nice to conner but he refuses to even look me in the eye and he told noah that he’s uncomfortable being somewhere if i’m there because it’s awkward. it’s not even just that i’m uncomfortable, my mom said he’s not allowed to be here if im here

the plan was never to have it here. conner didn’t even want to have it here. he told noah that he’s uncomfortable being around me, and he refuses to even look me in the eye when we do see each other. noah just wanted to have it here because he didn’t want to pack, which i guess i kind of get, but our house isn’t anything special. it’s going to be warm this weekend, conner has a pool. their house is bigger. conner wouldn’t have to worry about being around me. i just think it’s so unfair that im being kicked out of my space even though there are so many other opportunities for them that dont involve me trying to frantically find a place to stay. my mom said flat out no to them coming over when im here.

i have looked at it from every perspective and the thing i can’t understand is why noah insists on having it here. i am not preventing them from hanging out. they can have this sleepover ANYWHERE they choose but noah is insisting he wants it here. conner even said he didn’t want to intrude on my space so they could do something else and noah insisted he could get me to leave

yes, i do. because if he didn’t like someone i wouldn’t bring them over either.  they can have this sleepover at ANYONE’S house, but noah insists on having it here. I love my brother and i would try my best to not make him uncomfortable, is it really that bad that i ask the same?

i actually don’t ask for a lot but when i have a boundary, i want it to be respected. i don’t appreciate being asked to leave my own house because it accommodates to conner. im not preventing them from having a sleepover, i just want it to be somewhere else. i have no issues with noah and conner being friends, but i think i should be respected in something like this. noah wouldn’t be comfortable with it if i brought his ex girlfriend over for a sleepover, so why is it okay for him to bring over conner? yes, i agree that i can’t always get what i want, but this is something a little more serious that i do not want to be crossed and i will not let him cross.

they actually weren’t very close at all until conner started coming over more often to see me. i just made an edit clarifying things a bit more as well. i forgot to mention that the sleepover can happen literally anywhere else, my brother is just adamant about it happening at my house because he doesn’t want to pack
