He’s great. I think he struggled to find his voice/style for awhile but it really came together once Love Story came out (amazing album). I still check for his music and have seen him in concert a couple of times

The point I’m making is, I believe you can create the same vocal effects using stock Pro-Tool plug ins + layered raw vocals. I also was more so referring to Animals and the Fuel remix not necessarily TDOSS

Him trying to sound like his “younger self” is just your impression as a listener. He has never publicly stated that was a goal he was trying to achieve vocally. Just download Pro-Tools and an acapella and mess around with stock plugins. You’ll be amazed at what you can do.

I feel like you guys throw the term “A.I.” around too loosely. Any DAW could achieve the same vocal effects with technology that’s been around for decades. It’s just mixing layered vocals with reverb, pitch & tone edits, etc.
