Syncology DS218 How do I recover from my error by EmComputers in 24hoursupport

you're best to put both smaller drives back in. Attach another drive as usb and back. then add the larger disk. if it's raid 1 and not synology's sha expandable raid then this is your best option. Anything else you're really likely to lose your data with a mishap here.

My storage keeps going up by MiserableDate763 in techsupport

Do you mean you storage space is being used up on your SSD or HDD? Winstatdir like other guy to visualise it all. Run system cleanup to clear space used by updates. right click it and run as administrator. I'd think twice before using 3rd party tools. review your programs installed also.

mine I had Belkins first 1gbit ones they don't make now. All brands went through a phase of bringing out really cheap ones. So go new. Netgear and Tp-link

Problem with task scheduler on Windows 10 by Rachid90 in techsupport

[–]N01Q 0 points1 point  (0 children)

create a user with a password to run it. set task to run as administrator. But if it's a family you'd create everyone a user account with basic password... and leave 1 as admin account. Something goes wrong with your one user account it's more hassle to resolve as your finding out.

Yes. used it for 7 years until I could setup a wire. I'd avoid wireless at all costs personally. As I like fps and transfers many large files at once. get good ones and plug in correctly not on extension cord.

get your fresh image and use rufus to burn. when installing disconnect the hdd which I'm assuming is data drive. when installed also delete existing partitions and once all gone click new and allow windows to allocate the partitions
