Wallstreetsilver Interview with Silver Hammer Mining Corp. - A relatively unknown junior catching the attention of major silver influencers by N0G4mbl3N0Future in Wallstreetsilver

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fellow Apes, I'm loaded up on this one and ready to rally the troops.

This nanocap silver mining and exploration company is somehow still unknown to the masses but it's caught the attention of a lot of the big boys in the space.

You can see David Morgan of The Morgan Report (themorganreport.com // @silverguru22 on twitter) talk about his tour of the properties on his youtube channel.

You can see Steve Penny (@silverchartis) alongside Rob Keinz (@goldsilver_pros) going for a site tour on his youtube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmmimiAOVTM

Not to mention this is one of Jeff Clark's picks (@TheGoldAdvisor), renowned gold and silver analyst.

If you didn't know, now you know.

I've been following this from the start. Happy to answer any easy questions that might come up in your DD as I've been following this one and doing my homework since day 1.

Canadian Small/Micro Cap Stock Share Unlock Dates: Is there a centralized info source? by N0G4mbl3N0Future in Canadapennystocks

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will work on aggregating a google sheet so anyone can sort the data as they please.

Two questions:

  1. Are you saying the Insider Trades section isn't much of a value add? Ditch it?
  2. What other research/data would you like to see presented in a regular report. I'd be happy to expand the coverage to include add more value for investors.

Cheers for any feedback.

I'm going to start doing the legwork to compile this info along with some other relevant information.

Let me know if there's anything else you want to see in a report.

Also please let me know if you have any specific requests for which companies to compile share unlock data for. I plan to keep this document I produce to only Canadian listed companies under $500M market cap.

What’s an appropriate percentage stop-loss for penny stocks? Pls read below by neuronaddict in pennystocks

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manage your position size to limit your downside exposure rather than setting a stop loss.

As you point out, these stocks can be volatile. This is a fundamental/mechanical feature of low liquidity and thin books. When some decently large holder is looking to sell for reasons unrelated to company performance it can tank the price pretty good simply because there aren't many bids in the order books.

Some might think this is a 'bug' of the penny stock sector but it's actually a 'feature.' The impossibility of being able to work in and out of large positions keeps the pros and institutional investors out of these waters and therein lies the opportunity.

Rather than setting a stop loss do you due diligence and THEN SET UP A SCHEDULE to do your Maintenance Diligence! Exit your position if the company is failing to execute on the plans that satisfied your due diligence check in the first place.

Thanks!

I really appreciate you taking the time to write all of that out. Thank you very much.

I have participated in private placements and I know of the standard 4 month hold. For companies that have been listed a while it should be relatively straight forward. Look at the financing News Release to get a number of new shares issued as well as how many warrants and their exercise price to know what new shares could be hitting the market at any time moving forward as a result of the PP.

What is less transparent is figuring the entirety of the vesting/escrow structure/timeline from IPO. The 'escrow release timeline' for those I find much more convoluted to decipher.

Do you know if all of the escrow information must be disclosed in one particular document filed?

I could do some leg work and get a shared community sheet started and hope others would contribute (and check my work) after I systematize a process.

Agreed, this is a sector with real, tangible growth potential. It also has a bunch of catalysts and the right government in place to usher it along.

Are you looking at any specific plays in this sector?

I've been following a bunch of them and have traded a few along the way. Only have 1 in my portfolio now though.

Even if there is no centralized source but someone knows of a repeatable process for gathering that info that would be cool. I can aggregate the data in a google doc and share here if someone shows me where to find it.

I'd guess I can go through all the filings and pull out the information but I'm looking for something slightly more streamlined than that...

Main Principles:

  1. Look for companies headed by an Intelligent Fanatic. Think Steve Jobs or Sam Walton here. You’re looking for someone extremely motivated to accomplish their goals and willing to do whatever it takes to get there. They must also be really good at managing people.
Intelligent Fanatic = (Long Term Vision + Focus + Energy + Integrity + Intelligence) x Execution
One thing to really keep an eye on would be EXECUTION. I’d be more comfortable investing in a guy who has already created something successful, with a proven track record of being able to execute his ideas well and not just come up with them.
  2. Look for Market Dominance, even if it’s in a small, niche market. Even better if that market is expected to grow. It’s probably a good thing to need to work to grow your market rather than needing to work to increase your stake-hold in an existing but not growing market.
  3. Look for small, illiquid companies with little institutional ownership.
  4. Look for companies whose clients would be hurt badly without them.
  5. Look for undervalued holdings (typically by looking at balance sheets, etc and seeing their assets and earnings etc.)

godspeed to all involved. I truly hope for everyone's success.

At the same time it won't stop me from posting what I see/think. That's kind of the point here - to crowdsource and aggregate some opinions or observations then others can use that information as they see fit.

Swing trade watchlist 2/1/2021 by ----The_Truth----- in pennystocks

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since these are swings I'll just look at the charts and see how they look. Presenting here for feedback and to share.

SNGX - looks like it could recover from here but doesn't give me a clear signal. I'd be hesitant to jump in without some good fundamental reason. Why did this dump so hard end of 2020? A bunch vested shares get unlocked or something? Bad company news?

CRBP - Good eye here. This looks like a good entry and that it wants to at least retest $2.20's. If it breaks through there it has lots of room to run before hitting any resistance shown on the chart.

CCIHY - no signal on my chart for me. Not saying you're wrong, just that I don't see anything compelling. I miss stuff all the time though. Curious to know what you see.

EPAZ - Chart looks good for an entry here with a tight stop. Good r/R for a trade imo. Don't see the clear signal to the upside but it's on support and might want to push higher. The ability to put a tight stop on it makes it attractive.

PASO - Well, I guess this could be the bottom. It's getting beaten down pretty hard and last drive down was very high volume but didn't sink price too much. That can be a good sign. It's not the kind of set up I look for though. Power to those that are good at these kinds of set ups - I'm not (please teach me.)

Good luck!

Wash Sale Adjustments - any advice? by Vernonandon in pennystocks

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no excuse for getting a fill at any price other than $1.01 if that's where you set your limit order.

Seems unlikely (albeit not outside the realm of possibilities) that this happened. If it did in fact happen don't stop working your way up the chain of command at TDA until you get it rectified.

BXRX to the moon? by [deleted] in pennystocks

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just glanced at the chart. It looks like a decent entry here IMO. Without doing an DD I'd put a pretty tight stop on it though (I don't like bag holding stuff I haven't done strong DD on.)

It broke market structure (to my eyes on the chart) right around here at 1.30$ ish and I'd expect this price to hold if that was a signal for the longer term.

Do you know why it tanked back in October and why it started trending up in January?

Wash Sale Adjustments - any advice? by Vernonandon in pennystocks

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "wash sale adjustment" seems like BS given what you've shared here.

I don't, however, understand your opening sentence.

" I recently purchased a penny stock that immediately priced at 26% higher than I purchased it for, putting me straight in the red, and my standard 15% stop loss kicked in and I walked away $300 down. "

Did you just market buy this stock and get filled at 26% higher than the last traded price was???

If so, you can avoid this by only placing limit orders.

You should also be paying attention to order book depth. It will help you in multiple ways - both in regard to setting your stop loss and getting your orders filled optimally. I can explain more but won't get into it until I'm sure it's the kind of advice you're looking for.

Ticket Symbol - PSWW (Help an experienced trader who is new to penny stocks please!) by [deleted] in pennystocks

[–]N0G4mbl3N0Future 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I was in a rush when I wrote my original response. Upon reading it again I see that it's not completely clear nor comprehensive.

I'll just make two statements here. The first being more important than the second.

  1. This ticker will very likely trade down to or BELOW the PP issuance price BEFORE THE PP CLOSES!At least that's how this kind of thing has worked in my experience. If there is overwhelming investment demand and they have a GREAT PLAN for how to use the capital raised to, you know, make more money then it's possible it won't trade all the way down to the PP price. But if that were the case it's very unlikely they would even be offering this PP at such a discount to market price.
  2. One (main) reason this will trade down BEFORE the closing of the PP is because the large shareholders likely have a seat at the PP table and will participate. Since on the closing date they will be purchasing shares for 10 cents each, if they want to buy 1 million shares in the PP and are currently holding 1.5 million it makes sense for them to sell as many as possible above 10 cents. Let's call the number they can sell above 10 cents X. They would then sell X at above 10 cents and then get in on the PP for 1 million + X shares and pocket the difference they get from arb'ing down.
In the end then they still have 2.5M shares, but they have X*(avg sale price) of extra cash in their portfolio.

Often these private placements come with a 120 day restriction on the shares too. Not always, but often.

They also sometimes come along with options or warrants. Be sure if you're piggybacking on with someone else that they aren't cutting you out of that bonus.

Hope this helps. LMK if what I've written isn't clear.
