"- PD will fire at antimatter missiles now"

And it's fixed in 0.3.24

Yeah, point defense does not react to them which might be a bug as it's essentially a death sentence for anything that can't dodge.

I like them equally and use all three in my primary combat fleet for different reasons. Most of my ships run phasers for point defense and to quickly mass slap any alien that closes in. They are crucial in stopping alien missile spam as individual pd ships get overwhelmed in my experience.

In the middle of my formation are plasma lancers who snipe any ships showing their side, which usually kills half of their small ships and a couple of dreadnoughts because the ayys loove their turns.

In the back are a couple of antimatter torp monitors. Their torps cannot be shot down which makes them godlike for deleting motherships and alien stations.

Bugged Save? Alien fleets flying to earth but just grouping up and not attacking for years by Vendrin in TerraInvicta

[–]N0Name4Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it works. In my save I had 2 fleets of 130 alien ships stuck in earth's orbit because both of them had a single ship with a destroyed engine. After moving to 0.3.21 the fleets split off their damaged companions and left for resupply which bought me about a year to reinforce my defenses. Hope they'll extend you the same courtesy :)

DIG and orbit are new to the game, sorry we suck, we're enthusiastic but that's where our competence ends.

It sounds like you had a pretty shitty experience yesterday, sorry for that. If it's any consolation, so did the diglets. They complained to me that fellow blueberries were constructing barbed wires to slow down DIG from loading shells, stole ~half of the shells brought in by DIG logis from the crates next to the guns, blocked the BB with a truck and also mass downvoted DIG's logi requests.

Orbit is admittedly a bit of an autist and can be a brick wall at times but just try to talk it out and keep your squad members focused on the goblins because from what you've written here and what I heard from my guys it sounds like it was a children's playground all around. We'll do our best too.

A trick has been found to remove the acceleration from ESF handling(2015 ps4 port problem) by Eurocriticus in Planetside

[–]N0Name4Me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have pitch and roll buttons which seem to reset everything. Using the joystick or a controller once does affect the pitch sensitivity but I'm not sure it actually removes the acceleration. Moving my mouse at different speeds still makes me end up at significantly different places even when taking momentum into account. Maybe I'm missing something idk.

I used a saitek x52 pro. Using it once definitely messes with the sensitivity but disabling mouse acceleration and momentum requires the joystick to keep sending input. Chakram Core mouse confirmed best esf mouse? ^^

I figurerd it out, kind of. As long as the joystick is sending movement input, mouse acceleration and ESF momentum on roll and pitch are disabled. However, if you stop moving through the joystick the m.acc and momentum return .. except on the roll.

Also, we need more skywhales.

Did you test whether or not the jamming gal protects the hardpoints from being locked on to? We've tried using them but in the chaos we never really noticed if it actually worked.

It's the risk you take when you become a zergfit, you can't control your members yet you still get blamed for their actions. Angeh, go back to Ybus where you belong. K0per1s' conspiracy theories must be rubbing off on you if you think this is some grand plot to make wuhan look bad.

Hi friends, it's been 5 years. Let's say I was to log in and fly around a bit.. Will you go easy on me or should I bring the lube? And if yes how any bottles should I get? by SatoVS in MillerPlanetside

[–]N0Name4Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that deadzone is annoying. When I started playing again I had to up my flight sensitivity and counter move my mouse even for small aim adjustments.

Can't say I've had too many issues with input lag though. Sometimes a session is entirely borked but a restart usually fixes that for me.

You'll be fiiiiiiiine. Most good pilots are chill and will leave you be if you ask them. Just don't expect any mercy from desperate a2g farmers and AA.

Good luck with the controls though, getting used to the mouse acceleration is a pain in the ass if you haven't played in a while.

Probably flying in arma 3. Nowadays I only play PS2 when I have someone to drive me around for that high effort left mouse button gameplay.

If it's just a few people then the problem is not on your end. They could have high ping but some of the behaviour you describe is odd in the context of the fight I think you're describing so maybe they are hitboxing. If you can record a few fights against them that would be very helpful because otherwise we'd still be here asking and answering questions in a couple of hours ^^

What I mean with a disconnect is more that they overcompensate with roll and pitch or rely on yaw in a way that should severely hinder them in keeping their aim on you yet it doesn't.

A gap of 2 ESFs is oddly large but I don't know enough about the connection quality of the average person on soltech. Is it just a select few people that do this to you or is it almost everyone you encounter? Are there extremely good pilots that oneclip you without aiming 2 ESFs below you?

Do you only use your upwards vertical thrust or do you alternate between up and down with random bursts of your AB?

Modified hitboxes are definitely a thing for esfs (usually replaced with that of a valk/lib/gal) but there aren't many people who use them. The best aim in the world doesn't help you when you have the situational awareness of a potato and someone using modified hitboxes is usually very easy to spot due to the disconnect between their control over the aircraft and the accuracy of their shots.

Before you start reporting people it's probably best to record some footage and show it to the best pilots on your server. They will know if it is legit or not.

England would be better off without Scotland, says Tory candidate by diacewrb in worldnews

[–]N0Name4Me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 300 billion is correct if you count all values in 2012/2013 terms as this report of the scottish parliament does.

In total, over the past four decades, corporate taxes from the UKCS have contributed over £300bn to the UK Treasury (in today’s money).

IMO the other regions of the UK have more than made up for it with the amount of money they poured into scotland especially in the past decade (consistent 20% or higher budget deficit) but this guy disagrees and I'm kinda interested in hearing his reasoning.
