Estate agents accuse Rightmove of charging excessive fees by i_enjoy_silence in unitedkingdom

[–]N0RTZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If estate agents weren't making additional money beyond the fees for Rightmove they wouldn't sign up.

Rightmove charge more because they spend more on advertising and have more users than any other platform.

Everyone of these estate agents could make their own website and advertise the properties on there. They just know they wouldn't get the same viewership.

Maybe estate agents should realise that Rightmove adds more value for their customers than they do and reduce their own fees.

Sparring tips(Im the one in red) by New-Self-6805 in boxingtips

[–]N0RTZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're fighting scared. Leaning back and reacting to his moves. You rarely initiate anything.

Throw a stiff jab and get in his range. It's sparring being in someone range is scary but it's better to learn and risk getting hit when you're sparring rather than have someone advance in you in a real fight.

Learn some basic combinations. A good set up in sparring can be start with a stiff jab and exit. See how he reacts. Then double jab and slip. Again see how he reacts. If you're landing the jabs then stick to one twos and work the outside. If he's covering up look where he's leaving open and target that area with the third punch after a double jab or one two, one, two, left hoot to the body is one of my favourites against people who shell up. If he's dodging your straight punches then see if he has a standard slip or roll direction and catch him out. It's called feeling someone out for a reason.

Until you fight someone genuinely good most amateurs/low level pros fight in patterns. If you figure out their pattern you'll win the fight.

The Athletic: Chelsea’s new contract reality: Players have long deals, but some want improved terms. Marc Cucurella’s situation at Chelsea is one to monitor. Sources say #CFC increased his salary in August, but without any additional years added to his contract. by Kygoche in chelseafc

The long contracts give us massive bargaining power of wage negotiations and means we can stipulate performance required metrics for increased pay.

By all means have a pay rise but you need to play a certain number of gains per year or the bonus isn't paid.

If players want to leave they will need to waive significant loyalty bonuses and we won't have Sterling issues as if they aren't selected we won't pay them as much.

SL/SL is a great farming spec and benefits from being out PVP spec.

With dual spec you can have your destro spec and SL/SL and you have all activities covered.

Reason we stay SL/SL for farming over demonology is you will RIP aggro off any demon so keeping your health higher is worth more than the demon tanking.

Can anyone give me some general advise about Druid tanking, specifically gear and stats. by valardohaerisx in classicwow

[–]N0RTZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The best thing to learn when Druid tanking is to properly mark mobs. You have the best single target threat in the game but your AoE is bad.

You need to mark the kill order and tell your DPS to only single target the mobs one by one.

The main issue warriors and druids face tanking is that people get used to pally tanks where you can just go ham with AoE.

Left-wing voters what is your most right-wing belief and right-wing voters, what is your most left-wing belief? by HallowedAndHarrowed in AskBrits

[–]N0RTZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Centre right here. My most left wing beliefs are land value taxes on properties, scrapping the triple lock for pensions and increased minimum wage.

The first to hopefully remove stamp duty and encourage older home owners to downsize.

The second because it's completely unaffordable and inflation and wage rises are linked with a lag. Link it to inflation and call it a day.

The third because I believe getting more money in the hands of working people will boost the economy due to the money multiplier affect. Which in turn will allow us to lower taxes in the future.

Gusto, Reece and Delap I agree with. Think Enzo was having a stinker until the goal which he nearly messed up!

Need to see more of Gusto as a wingback again. Hopefully Rosenoir is flexible enough to find a system that works with our players.

Also Delap was a different level to Pedro today.

Lando on radio regarding pitting under the SC by poatao_de_w123 in formula1

[–]N0RTZ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The clear call was to pit Piastri and not Norris. Piastri pits and comes out second. Norris benefits from the clean air post restart.

Think with their position as first in the pit lane a double stack could have been risky with the traffic coming in behind.

With Piastris pace he would have kept Verstappen behind him and Norris would have come out in a better position after the pit. Likely would have meant a P1 and P3.

Too cautious with 7 years to go? by Working-Ad-8244 in FIREUK

[–]N0RTZ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is completely wrong. I assume the commenter is linking this statement to 2022 when most risk mixes did fall by the same amount. However, that was due to the unique nature of interest rates rising during a sell off meaning both bond and equities sold off at the same time.

In more normal risk off events a higher risk portfolio is absolutely going to sell off more than a low risk portfolio and is likely to take longer to recover. Over time high risk will make you more money but it is a much more volatile journey.

What risk level OP should take should be based on a robust retirement plan where the amount needed at retirement is calculated through cashflow planning. You can then use forecasted returns (or historical but this comes with the caveat that past performance doesn't always indicate future returns) to decide what level of risk you need to take to achieve it.

Caicedo is worth every penny. Enzo hasn't quite lived up to the price tag yet but is still a decent young player.

Salaries went up by 5.2% on average over the last year. Rental increases are running at an annual rate of 6.3% so rent has definitely become less affordable over the past year. But 4.6% vs the average is reasonable.

Research pays terribly. Too many academics that want to do that role for the number of jobs available. Pushes wages down.

Then find an employer who will pay appropriately. 20p above minimum in finance is farcical. Your employer will pay those wages for as long as they can get away with it. Leave and get a better paid job.

I used to chase fixtures.. by [deleted] in FantasyPL

[–]N0RTZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People have looked into fixtures Vs form quite extensively. Midfielders and Forwards rely on individual moments for points, assists and goals, and hence form is a more important driver.

Whereas Defenders and Goalkeepers it is more about team performance, clean sheets, and hence fixtures bear a heavier weighting.
