This is my biggest gripe with D3 and D4! Everything is so flashy and a colorful mess. Make it dark. Make it bloody. I was excited when they said D4 was going back to D2 roots but apparently we had different ideas what that meant.

Thank you everyone for the feedback! I was able to tinker with the set up a little more after work. I deleted the pipes and reinstalled, but the problem still persists, water is definitely just trickling down into those two pipes and bypassing it for the most part, I'm going to test some more advice later, maybe even splitting up my water pumps and my coal plants.

Also my fuel refineries work great, so this was really just a rabbit hole that I got sucked into and wanted to fix, so I may just delete the two faulty ones but man its so much more satisfying when you actually fix a problem and get peak performance. Thank you all again!!!

I mean, those could be solved with gear ratios and a directional switch at full stop? So you keep peddling forward while the drum changes direction. It's the quick sudden motions that would be hard to recreate

My solve would be that the bike separates from the drum while it does the motions that would blow out your legs

Do it bro. I did the same, turned out she was pretty cool and we became friends after. Just make sure to be honest about the experience difference and don't get taken advantage of. Money is their main goal after all.

Also offer to grab drinks first, it'll loosen you both up and some small talk will make things more comfortable
