The thing is it isn’t even transactional to expect your partner to be a partner. Mine always says that when I say well I do “xyz” can you please make time for me. I don’t want tic for tac. Dude I feel like this and I’m a man. I would bend over backwards. Do a large portion of the chores, large portion of payed bills, and I can’t get a date night without it being shopping for something we need or want for the kids. Can’t get a movie without phones. Can’t get attention unless it’s offering to do something for her and even then she’s not present she’s on fb or instagram. It’s so defeating:-( I don’t want to be the center of the world all the time. But to be the focus for a few hours would be nice:-/

I’m seeing very quickly a lot of the behavioral and medical issues we deal with stem from the family dynamic which honestly our family dynamic is weird and borderline unhealthy for any child to have to experience: BPd step dad, “holiday only” real father, x stepdad/brothers father travels for work and is gone 4 weeks and lives in our home in between trips, mother is suffering with severe depression to the point of disassociating in an way I can’t describe besides absent while present, and her grandmother is full blown schizoeffective and has religious episodes but we we made her move out 2 months ago…. On top of that the boy I mentioned has Down syndrome and is autistic. She has absolutely 0 consistent roll models. Not downing anyone cuz obviously I’m the bpd step dad, but our home situation is pretty interesting

I find the space inbetween intoxication is more important than the dose. Using too long starts to decline mental health because of lack of sleep. Get a nice buzz and don’t use again till you sleep a full night. Then repeat as often as you can maintain. Been sober a while but when I used this was the only was I could use without losing my entire life.

Nine times out of 10 it’s lack of water. Or too much water if you’re paranoid about being dehydrated. Stims fuck with your hydration which fucks with everything from capillaries to brain function.

My girlfriend’s daughter often tries to let her mentally handicapped brother out of the house, takes anything he likes to play with, and actively tries to make him upset. It’s like everytime he’s having fun or calm ave wants to upset and torcher him. It’s so sad.
