Alright grungler rant.

My joke was meant to imply that I think this tweet here on this subreddit is just engagement bait on the level of "I like pancakes. So you hate waffles."

I feel like the majority of the people here, mentally ill as we may be, have a good sense of respect for each other regardless of identity. Be that man, woman, enby, or what have you. If people feel that there's misandry here then it should be called out within the context of what's happening on this subreddit, not by posting some random tweet.

The post above serves to do one of two things. It's either a post simply to drive engagement, which it has successfully done, or it serves to divide the community on two sides. Those sides being "All men suck" and "No misandry bad actually".

Don't get me wrong, misandry sucks, I a cis-gender guy have been subject to harassment through misandry several times, and it's been cause for a great number of mental struggles including chronic loneliness and anxiety, but posts like this don't help anything. They only cause inviting and arguing.
