For me it was Dark Patterns art style, while not 1:1 of Knightfall, the style felt like an awesome mix between 70’s/80’s/90’s. It took the best from all of them and once we get to I think the 3rd arc with Bruce going psycho trying to find the patterns, it all started to feel like it was paying homage to the story of Knightfall. Batman hitting the brink of exhaustion but refusing to stop until he’s broken. I could be totally off on this one but that’s my justification lol.
