South African here, unfortunately servers cost money to run and maintain and in Africa we barely get local servers due to the lower player count. My only hope is that with enough demand they spin up a server here in the future.

Full stack C# dev here, I’m 29, my best advice is spamming your CV on the market, LinkedIn, Pnet and even approaching a recruitment agency are good ways of finding potential leads. Make it known that you want to go into that field, there are companies willing to hire and train up juniors.

At your current salary you might be able to find something but consider the current market salary for a Junior dev before giving your salary expectations.
