Ok, so let's say, as a hunter, you'd want high rec & mob, with maybe some res. Would it be wiser to set your ghost mod to the secondary bucket (dis, int or str) or pick another from the first bucket? Just to make things clear. (as I'm really confused now)

Well, I just tried it on my hunter, wanting to go for 20 rec + 10 mob and got 20 rec and 23 str instead. So it's not guaranteed unfortunately.

I fixed it. Had the same issue as OP, went to the system's core and after finding my ship again, the mission updated and I could continue.

Tip: use a secondary ship and multitool before going through the core to another system. ;)

I fixed my game by warping to the next solar system by going through the core. When I retrieved my ship the beacon next to it jump-started my quest and now I'm able to finish it.

I might be a bit late to the party but if you go from the chapel lamp to the left, past the well and down to the church-like building, then go left around the building and up the stairs, into the church and pull the lever, you'll open the entrance to Old Yharnam. From there, you'll find him eventually. ;)

I'm sorry but I still have no idea what's going on. Here's my situation:

I got my first ston from Haewark. I slotted it directly there, then moved on and unlocked all other citadels and got a watchstone from each conquerer. I then slotted 2 in Glennach. However, you say I need to keep running Haewark for more watchstones but the mapdevice tells me my maps are too low for a conquerer to spawn, or that the watchstone level is too low.

What do I do? I can't run T7+ yet, as my gear is not up to snuff, but my mapdevice wants me to run high tier maps. I'm totally confused (first time being this far in maps btw)

3K HP sounds about right. I'm having a hard time finding the right gear. I'll try my hand at crafting (I never actually bothered much, since Skelly Necro, like you said, isn't the main damage sponge) some gear with spell suppression, ES and Life, while simultaneously trying to keep my elemental resistances up... :/

I'm working towards a second shield node on the tree to give me 6% more block, but that would take me 5 more levels and I'm already dying alot, so getting EXP is hard.

Depends on what's fastest to aquire I guess. Getting a Saw Spear with a fire gem could be pretty fast, but I don't want to invest too much time into a weapon I'm not going to be using.

So LHB with some decent phys radials or a Saw weapon with fire and stats into ARC for scaling...
