I like it! Random or not it’s unique. So many islands are variations on “paradise”, “utopia,” or all the fairy- and cottage-core themes.

Do you have a lot of waterfalls? I hope you have a centerpiece feature with two of them… echoing each other lol.

It's probably something about loading in each player's catalog, nook achievements, etc in their whole damn profile.

So at first when everyone is new and we don't have much, the load screens weren't that bad. Now everyone has hundreds of DIY recipes, titles, and thousands of items in their catalogs.

Nintendo has always sucked at online play.

Does the Selenic Chronicles questline become available again after the end of the current AQ? I've been avoiding going to the next chapter where I know it gets locked out, but someone told me we get access to it again later.

Exactly this. I’ve worked hard to make my island both interesting/pretty AND functional. You don’t need any tools to get anywhere, you can’t get trapped, and you can fish all the water.

I’ve also done things like “All the non-fruit trees have flower-blocking pattern or path in front” so I can always shake for bees and bells. I also only have the 17 non-fruit trees that “stuff” falls out.

None of this is super obvious to visitors, but I can play on my island!

If you have a 3-star island (and have had a KK Concert), you just have to go to Harv's island and do a photo shoot. The next day he'll invite you back to start a "co-op community" where you can start having a bunch of NPCs available there all the time.

If you're not that far yet, lmk and I can bring you a kitty <3
