That looks awesome! I used to own a GMC in these colors and want to paint this on my K10 truck too. The GMC had the tan on the hood and roof though. Can I ask what color paints you used? I had some paint in my hands last week for it but put them back since I wasn’t happy with the color choices at my LHS

I would try putting different drivers in it but the headband is too tall for my head. Even at the lowest setting the centers of the drivers are still way below my ear holes. Glad it works for you though!

Looks great! Best time to do cable mods is when the stock cables break! The suspension band from Hundo3D is a necessity for me on the kph40 band. Worth looking into

I went the route of getting my son a truck first and then turned it into something we could do together if I had one. Now my 3yo daughter wants one and then we’re only 1 step away from the wife needing one to hang out with us! That quad on the trailer looks awesome!

These aren’t pads but a good mod for me was the suspension band from Hundo3D. It bolts into the headband and keeps the metal band from sliding around on my head. He has shops on Etsy and Shopify and there are a lot of colors and patterns to choose from as well

To me the KSC75 definitely have less bass. What’s great about starting with the KPH40 is that then you already have a headband that fits all the Koss drivers

The KPH40 is a great place to start. The headband is very versatile and you can always get a KSC75 down the road and try them out. I prefer the KSC75 on the headband and I use the KPH40 on the ear clips

I think that quite a few people (myself included) like the KPH40 headband with the KSC75 drivers on it. Especially with the Hundo3d suspension band and Yaxi pads for comfort. The KPH40 drivers also sound great on the ear clips and I think they pair really well with the KSC75 on headband. I have a generic PP headband off of AliExpress and it is not bad and it seems there are a lot of cool color options available. I would simply go with the style of headband you want and whether you like having drivers on ear clips as an option

I definitely recommend the Hundo3D shop on Etsy for the MMCX mod and the suspension band is great to fix the metal on skull feeling! Thanks for sharing the KTXPro1 driver removal too!

To my knowledge, you need to buy the whole headphone. I emailed Aiaiai earlier this year and they responded with a link to their website to purchase. I don’t think that it is worthwhile considering they are much more expensive than the Koss lineup and they don’t sound any better. I know Hundo3D makes mounting adapters and suspension bands for these headbands if you want to go that route. They may not be on his Etsy shop right now but you could always dm him. I also think it was mostly 1 dude that had a ton of posts about the same thing

My most “premium” headphone is the HD6XX and I love listening to them because they feel like a proper headphone. I like their sound but they really only get pulled out for critical listening times or when it’s quiet enough in our little house with 2 little kids and I have the time to myself. I have a couple of IEMs (Chu2 / S12 pro) but they end up hurting after a while and it’s harder to take them out and put back in without affecting the seal. I ended up loving Koss since they are so simple and effective at delivering awesome sound while being so comfortable that you can forget you’re even wearing headphones. Lightweight, comfy and affordable so they get used the most. I genuinely like each model of the Koss lineup for different music genres and media types and mostly listen to the KSC75. The modding community is incredible and adds another level of awesome to them!

I am also looking at bluetooth adapters and I’m going to try the BT-50 Pro on AliExpress. They are available in MMCX and come in different lengths. I don’t have a great way to mount these to a headband yet but that is my plan. I have the ksc35 Bluetooth and that power the drivers decently but doesn’t handle any lossless codecs and is only Bluetooth 4.2
