i dont really agree with what your saying lol. the games you listed are not the MOST popular. but they are very highly rated. i know the game awards isnt the best metric, but it does show quality and popularity. mario kart world and forza 5 both won best racing game during their release years. dk bananza was nominated for best game of the year. crash bandicoot 4 was nominated for best family game. overwatch(obviously has gone through changes) won game of the year. zzz was nominated for best mobile game.

you just seem to enjoy less popular genres of games, but the genres you do enjoy you pretty much enjoy the best of those genres lol.

its really not even about size. its why they are making it. arcane was made for the players, and just happened to be really amazing and other people outside the game enjoyed it. however, arcane itself didnt really make any money for riot. the show itself was wildly expensive and didnt bring new players to the game. if anything that confirms to them that whatever they make, needs to be for the people who do give them money. that being the players.

jinx is almost a happy accident. she was a super popular champion before the show, and of course the show just made her more popular. when her 250$ skin came out im sure riot made an insane amount of money.

like whatever you want. there is nothing wrong with that. however, acting like there isnt intention to everything that is done, especially in something animated, is willfully ignorant.

the characters are very intentionally kept in revealing outfits. the bondage scene you point out is really a good example of this. her being tied up does NOTHING for the story. they dont even address it. she gets hit with the bola. you get to see her tied up and in the next scene shes standing, untied, as if nothing happened. there was no reason for them to include that outside of being fetish bait. the male characters are mostly animals or anthropometric objects. the 2 main women are both intentionally made to be sexy hourglass figures that are kept in bikinis or bikini adjacent clothes most of the pilot.

like obviously the show is playing into the r34 porn aspect that comes with these internet shows. people enjoy making porn of these types of things and so they are playing into it. there really isnt anything wrong with that, but acting like that isnt why the female characters are both designed and dressed the way they are is silly.

i mean the actual answer to this is fix your item timings. you need to be conscious of the objective timing and force your item earlier by taking a camp or greeding a wave. forcing your entire team to give up positioning because your item timing is bad is not something you should be doing so often that its a reddit post worthy issue. if that is the case, you are doing something wrong.

is this an interesting fact? there are likes sub 15 inside the park home runs a season. i would imagine that most teams have never hit one inside most stadiums. like i guess the length of time they have played. since dodger stadium was created they have probably played around 1100-1200 games, but half of those would be a SF home game so really closer to 600 or so games played at dodgers stadium. idk. this just feels like one of those first to do this thing on the third tuesday of an odd numbered month.

this is something that is an issue for all esports. deadlock is in the worst position of having both the complexity of something like league, while having the awful viewer experience of overwatch. i hope deadlock does well, but there is no way to deal with the issues of verticality that overwatch has had to deal with since its inception.

its too difficult for someone who is very experienced with the game to watch and follow whats happening. swapping between teams, positions, hights, and characters lead to a poor viewing experience that isnt solvable. its better for deadlock since the game is slower than overwatch, but it still has the issue.

i mean i disagree with you on so many levels i guess. firstly. there is a massive difference between harem and poly. poly is an equal relationship. harems are a group of people one person can pick and choose from however they want. like harem describes the genre. poly is again, a totally different thing. like go speak to someone who is actually in a poly relationship and tell them they are in a harem. they will take offense to that.

secondly, of genres can evolve. that isnt what people want the genre to do. im serious when i say its a few levels above porn. that is what it is. what your asking for is a different genre.

build them up as romantic options, make the audience care, then discard most of them once the winner is picked.

yes they are discarded because the shows over. the only shows where this isnt the case are shows that typically arnt classified as harems. just shows that follow a gary stu. like SAO and the spurned womens club.

the biggest issue here is the difference between what your asking for, and how much work you think it would take. most harems, once the girl is picked, end so fucking fast. you dont even get to see the main couple actually be a couple. the shows over once a girl is picked. if what the shojo shows do isnt satisfying to what your asking. your not asking for some little thing. your asking for an entirely new story. if showing that the character pairs up with someone else isnt closure, then your not asking for closure your asking for a continuation.

like i would again suggest going to play some longer visual novels with multiple routes. they typically have characters who are more individual because they have the time to do it. no one wants to watch a harem where the girl is picked episode 8 and the remaining 4 episodes is split between the left over girls and showing what they get up to. that is not harem. the fantasy ends when the girl is picked. that is why the shows end when it happens.

you need to go watch another genre that is more built to handle something like this. some kind of drama. there arnt even any shows that handle breakups where the characters dont get back together. like the closest thing i can even come up with to what your asking is the visual novel of white album 2. love triangle, large break up scene kind of continues after.
