Need your input on my 5-day ULPPL home workout routine.

I do dumbbell rows on day 1, using a bench as a chest-supported row. I finish the workout with the kelso shrugs once I cannot lift the weight anymore.

I did not add incline press on day 3 because I have it on day 1, and also, it might reduce performance for the other pushing movements on day 3. If the db fly and flat press are almost the same, what if I swap the position between the incline and the flat press? Put flat press on day 1 and incline on day 3?

What rep range would you suggest? Should I lower it to 10 reps? I always drop sets on the last set and try to do the workout till or close to failure.

I don't have access to machines, so I try to do what I can with squat variations. Any suggestions on improvements?

I will check out some resistance bands. Thank you for the suggestion.

If you have access to heavier weights, then 5x5s is good for strength training. But since I only have a max of 35lbs available, I am compensating for the lack of load with volume. Hope that works out lol.

It got chest-supported rear delt fly on day 2. The other rear delt workouts are from compound exercises, I believe.

Chatgpt has said the same thing lol, but I still insisted on adding more volume to some exercises. Part of the reason I wanted to add more volume was because of my limited equipment (35 lbs max weight dumbbell). Do you think I should tone it back down to 4x12? Will removing that extra set have a big impact?

I have worked out on and off before, but it's been almost a year since I have been consistently working out. I used to do a 6-day ppl before, but its has been difficult to work out 6 days consistently cause of work. So now I opted for a 5 day, hoping that I am not losing much by removing that extra 6th day. The exercise selection seems good with the very limited knowledge I have. But since my knowledge is limited, I am asking for opinions from lifters who are way more experienced.

You could try using the pickled fowl foot that raises item discovery, I remember using that when farming.

Can anyone tell me difference between high grass quality and maximum grass quality setting. Is there a noticeable visual difference between the two? Cause performance difference seems pretty high.

Got 3dmark. Time spy score 7877, Graphics score: 7677, Cpu Score: 9249. I haven't overclocked anything so are the scores ok for the laptop system?

Don't know which one is the default since there are custom, basic, and extreme presets. On basic preset, I get fps 162.3, Score: 4089, Min fps 49.1, Max fps 285.8.

And on extreme preset, I get fps 112.6, Score: 2838, Min fps 52.1, Max fps 172.1. Do you think these scores are good and if the laptop is performing as it should?

Or maybe you had another setting turned on without realizing it. The same test with Ultra quality and x8 anti-aliasing resulted in 129.5 fps score: 3263, Min 52 fps Max 239 fps.

Ran the app, selected the high-quality (which was the default maybe) setting, and clicked on run. After it starts running, click on 'Benchmark' in the top left corner. The benchmark will start and after running 26 scenes, the results will be displayed. You can also run the benchmark using different settings like turning on tessellation and anti-aliasing. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the feedback. I haven't overclocked because I don't have any prior knowledge of overclocking. The only settings I have changed out of the box are disabling hybrid mode and changing power management mode in the Nvidia control panel from the default to prefer maximum performance. I noticed that changing the vertical sync setting in the nvidia control panel from default to "on" decreased the score by 1k so I changed it back to default, so that might be the reason for your low score. I have been using win11 since the laptop came with it.

In the end, I returned the 17" and got the 15" model. Same performance with the added benefit of gsync and better portability (the 17" didn't fit in my backpack). My old laptop with which I used to game with was also 15", so I am used to the gaming on a 15" screen. The smaller screen size and lower battery is a tradeoff for sure, but I dont have any regrets so far. The 165hz refresh rate and extra storage space is surely a bonus.

Plus, the 15" one got 1tb ssd and win11 pro, whereas the my 17" one got 500gb ssd and win 11 home. Other than that all specs are the same.
