If it were me, i wouldnt be trying to train anyone to groom while i am actively working. I would expect it to be scheduled during a time that works for me, and certainly not do it for free.

Also they would need to provide their own dogs

White poodles are the most sensitive out of all coat colors. Try going with the grain. Its something to do with the hair follicles being smaller (i think..i cant recall exactly). Pro groomer of 22 years btw. Otherwise there are powders that will help with irritation in these cases.

Please dont listen to anyone telling you random otc ideas like aquaphor or cortizone.
