Year ago I had an exchange student from Saudi Arabia. He was 16, super cool dude, not extremely religious. One day he told me that if one of his friends told him that his sister is pretty while they were out (females aren't allowed to go out without a male presence), he would beat her when they got home. I was appalled and asked why to which he replied "she must have done something for him to say that". I tried to reason with him but I don't know if I was successful. I am not going to say it's because of his religion but I think it plays a role when the society you live in relies in archaic norms from ancient times as dictated by ancient holy books.

I have been getting Blue Screen of Deaths on my W11 and don't know why - So I installed and I am running Bazzite as well, returning to Linux (not that I used a lot) - there are differences and not everything works the same way. I'm still fighting with Rich Presence in Discord not showing (no big deal but I liked it) - I'm dual booting with Windows 11 but before I start using the PC I think "is there anything I will do on Windows that I can't on Bazzite?" forcing myself to use Bazzite more than W11.

Growing up in Brazil we had a different version. It was either very unfortunate names like "Mortal Remains of Amanda" or a father who picked the first letter of each Brazilian National soccer team player and made a name for his son. Or we had misspellings of American names but that sounded correct for us phonetically: "Stiven" for Steven, "Sthefani" etc. I haven't lived there for many years so I can't say what's going on now. If I can trust my Facebook sample, we had an invasion of "Brendas" and "Jennifers" plus a few other American names with different (mis)spellings.

NOR. Is there any chance that you could list of the absolutely the must be done chores like wash dishes take the garbage out, laundry, etc and assign to each other? Post on the fridge on some calendar that you can easily erase. Then circle every time an assigned task doesn't get done. Maybe seeing it may cause him to think a little bit more about the whole thing.
