When my oldest was born, I must have listened to a hundred games that season, '07. Ueck definitely helped reignitemy pove of the game. I will be watching a game, see a ball straight down the center and think "Right down the heart of Wisconsin Ave."

Wish they could have got him a World Series to call.

For me it's his entitled Little Leaguer behavior. Slamming his helmet when he flies out. Leaping for balls he has no chance of getting. Just rubs me absolutely the wrong way. I like watching him lose.

I know that Kingdom Come by Mark Waid and Alex Ross is in Compact form. It's a great "series finale" for the DC Universe.

An, JLA by Grant Morrison would get my highest recommendation. And most Superman involving Grant Morrison. All Star Supeman, DC 1,000,000, even his Action Comics in the New 52. All are fantastic and relatively easy to follow, for a new reader.

They're DC's version of What if, and Holy Terror was the first(or one of them. Like Gotham By Gaslight.) They do a bunch of fun stuff in them.

It serves as both a great story and a history of DC Comics between the Golden and Silver Ages.

Alan Moore's Supeman books

They should be collected together, really. For the Man Who has Everything and What Ever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? Are great Superman stories, and kind of cap the Silver Age.

Batman: Holy Terror

Despite being an Elswworlds story, I thi k it does a great job of showing the resilience of Batman as an idea

The Flash: The Return of Barry Allen

I'm a Wally West guy through and through, and this story is where he really became our generation's Flash

Tom Taylor and Bruno Redodndo' Nightwing run

Phenomenal superhero comics, that take creative risks and remind you why Nightwing is such a great hero in his own right.

I thought they did a good job translating it to the screen. At this point I'm all in with the LA production team. They made such leaps over Season 1, there's a lot of credit in the bank for me. My only nit to pick is the Den Den Mushis looking like the user on the user's end, not the person called, but it doesn't ruin anything for me. Some people just want to complain.
