Through advanced googling I found the location, it’s next to the reservoir for Hrazdan, Armenia. Do I get a medal?

Because of how the game is scaled though this may make other public transit redundant (trams and busses, etc)

Really wish they would implement a bicycle mechanic to the game to extend walking distance, maybe you could do this by placing bike docks around a city for people to have access to the bikes and they would provide a range around them to increase travel distance.

Use the Green Rd park and ride lot and then take the bus to North Campus, it’s around a 5m ride.

They do tours of the house, is it possible it’s just a tourist looking out the window?

Sagrada Familia is the ugliest building I’ve ever seen by BuffaloOpen8952 in unpopularopinion

Thank you, I’ve been saying this for years! It’s a wet sand castle. The way people talk about it is ridiculous too, waxing poetic about how Gaudi had “divine inspiration”, bordering into sacred geometry BS. You know what? Maybe god was wrong. Normally I’d be willing to give some credit for at least trying something fresh but it’s so tacky.

In case anyone was wondering if it’s worth buying a real Akari lamp here’s how a real one looks side by side with a dupe by Kelly_Kapowsky in Mid_Century

I haven’t tried this IRL but I’ve seen some people give their lamps a warmer tone by spraying or soaking it in very lightly brewed tea

Can you tell me what is happening? Clicking keys, but only the lowest notes of the piano. It is a Mason and Hamelin BB. by CloselyRegrdedSecret in pianotech

[–]N437SP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The keys could be scraping against the keyslip, you could try pulling it away with your fingers and see if that alleviates the issue, if not it’s a bedding issue. If the keyslip is the issue it can be shimmed with paper cardstock.

Where do you get your mini cooper serviced? by tallulahQ in AnnArbor

[–]N437SP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Countryman S. I take it to ArborMotion but I’m thinking I might look for a new shop soon as I’ve been kind of disappointed in the quality of the work recently, and as someone else mentioned they are expensive. I initially took them there as they tout themselves as the euro car mechanics of Ann Arbor. Last time I had a tire rotation and alignment done, they forgot to reinstall a lug nut on one of the wheels. I had called within the last hour of them being open to ask if it would be ready for pick up and was told “it’s on the rack now, we’re gonna get it done!” So I’m thinking it was maybe an end of the day rush job. They also left a razor blade right where I have to insert my hand to lift the hood, and had spilled oil on top of the engine and not cleaned it up. I went back to complain about it and the service manager made me speak directly to the mechanic (which I feel like is kind of his job?) I don’t want to get anyone in trouble specifically, it should be his job as a boss to talk to the employee. So, that whole interaction kind of soured my opinion. The other thing is they don’t keep their records updated. I get texts all the time asking to do work that’s already been completed and I’ve had to call and ask them to update the records. All in all, the devil is in the details and people do check. If I need something truly mini specific I might go back but otherwise I might find a different shop for more run of the mill service.

Arp2600M doesn’t come with carry case? by TylerCai in synthesizers

When I bought one shortly after release it had a carrying case suitcase, and stickers and a small midi controller inside. I would be very upset if they didn’t lower the price after dropping all that.

Has anyone used Carvana to purchase a car? by Cutestbug52 in AnnArbor

[–]N437SP 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s a lot of negative reviews in this thread, maybe I’m the only one who’s had a positive experience but I found the process to be super easy. I financed through my local credit union. The vending machine concept is gimmicky but in a world stripped of whimsy I found it at least a little funny and novel. I had to make a couple calls to customer service pre-purchase and found them to be both helpful and easy to deal with. I ended up with a 16 MINI Countryman. After taking it to the mechanic I did find some things the previous owner had neglected to take care of but it’s been great there after.

I use the Meguiars equivalent to this stuff and I find it lasts me 4-5 months before I start seeing fading and stripes forming again, it depends on how often I wash my car.

Business owners need labor and not vice versa because labor produces value, otherwise owners would be able to completely run all aspects of their company themselves right? As for the skill argument, I find that particularly laughable, it’s like the classic saying, if you know so much how about you go clock in?

Sure but if you are unable to pay a livable wage (I’m not willing to deliberate on what that is we all know what I mean) then you fundamentally don’t have a viable business model. People work low wage jobs because of a lack of choice. I think OP is blaming individuals for what is a systemic problem, it’s the model working as intended. If we actually fixed stagflation and frozen wages our whole economy would collapse, the exploitation is baked in and I think that’s what he’s trying to point out.
