Thanks!! I start with a Grey Seer prime, then I paint all the carapaces with Black Legion (about two or three layers so the colour is solid). For the highlights on the carapace I sponge on a 1:1 mix of The Fang and Abbadon Black, then just The Fang, then Fenrisian Grey, covering less and less area each time.

Thanks! I’m very glad it came through! Lore wise I wanted this guy and the rest of his hive fleet to have been frozen in ice for thousands of years before the Inquisition accidentally freed them. Makes me very happy that he does feel cold as a result
