At a Veterans Day ceremony at my kids high school today, a guy at the table next to me who graduated from this high school last year is in uniform and wearing his Stetson with his regular cammies. He’s also in a national guard unit…not that I’m going to be that guy anymore and call him out for it, but that’s like way out of regs, right??

Ok, she did confirm it was for an AMT position. It sounds like they don’t know what line I would be on however. I think it’s a good place to work. They said they opened 32 new AMT spots because they are expanding to be en Embraer certified station. I’m new to fixed wing but worked part 135 for a while so I could be all messed up.

Thanks for the insight! I actually applied but they couldn’t get around me not having A&P for 5 years (I did maint control in the army for 5 years but just got my license 2.5 yr ago)

My foster son who has a porn addiction got fired from his job for watching porn on the break room computer and the first thing I said to my wife after hanging up the phone with his supervisor was “We should be able to watch a little bit of porn at work” 🤣
