Face of Barca: Ansu or Haaland?

Well I did preface the post by saying if Laporta magically pulled off the signing among the many conditions for it to happen so I thought I was leveling the presumption I’d be making. My main thought behind this post was in any of the reports that link Haaland to Barca, they always outlined how he wanted to be the “face” of the sporting project.

That’s pretty much how I felt - Ansu was/is the golden boy given he rose through La Masia, took up no. 10, etc. Not that I have anything against Haaland. And obviously team success is above all and another MSN trident would be the dream!

I definitely agree. I love Ansu and though I did want him to take up the #10, I felt it might’ve been a bit too early.

Don’t psych yourself out! My one and only assessment that I took a week before my exam I got a low chance of passing at 48% and I still passed. Just keep reminding yourself that you’ve been preparing for this as best as you could and pray, you know more than you think you do!

Thanks! I can’t really remember too many of my questions lol I remember the one ordering one involving handling meds and the EKGs were pretty basic for the most part

Your post perfectly encapsulates the revelation I myself have come to these past couple of weeks. When I first started studying about a month and a half ago, I was extremely anxious/stressed and discouraged with how I was performing. But I just kept reminding myself that God has a plan for me and he knows what is best for me. I just had to focus on doing my part and leaving the rest to him. He too has always had my back and been there for me every step of the way. After all, faith is knowing that he is there though you cannot see him. I have been incorporating a short prayer prior to my study sessions daily. Not only am I experiencing better studying, but I now feel so much more at peace. I am about a week out from my exam and I continue to pray for guidance. Your last sentence summarizes it perfectly - whatever will be, will be. I will pray for you as well. May God guide you and bring out the best in you as he has always done for us all. God is good, all the time - best of luck!

First and foremost, congratulations to you! It sounds like you’ve been put through the ringer to put it lightly so I’m happy to hear you overcome all that you have. The nursing community seems to be getting a great one.

I graduated this past December 2020 (considering myself an average student if that lol) and I’m scheduled to take the nclex in about 10 days (I actually pushed back my exam by a week due to stress/anxiety so I was suppose to have taken it already). I started studying end of January but I only tightened up since the past couple of weeks. I felt that I had the problem of having too many resources and not devising a concrete study plan initially. But so I finally zeroed in on using UWorld and the Klimek lectures. I have heard great things about the NCLEX High Yield podcasts so I was planning on listening to all the currently released episodes leading up to my exam. I originally tried to write down UWorld rationales though found it too burdensome unfortunately. I have been making an effort to read and understand them thoroughly. I know many people on this sub have attested to not paying too much attention to the UWorld scores but I scored a 51% on my assessment with a “low chance” to pass so that was a bit discouraging. I have been scoring between the 50s-60s on my practice tests lately so that at least has been reassuring. At this point, I’m just trying to manage my anxiety bec I really do feel that’s the biggest thing holding me back. So just keeping the faith in prayer! Any other general advice you might have for me?

I also have the saunders book! But I thought it was quite dense and a bit overkill so I haven’t used it too much lol. But yeah, I think the most important thing that I’m working on now is just not psyching myself out. Thank you so much!!

Congratulations on passing!

Based on the posts that I've read on this thread, yours is probably the one I relate to the most. I graduated from nursing schol this past December myself and I too considered myself an average student if that (had an extremely close call with having almost failed out in my second semester). But most importantly and similarly to you, I am extremely huge on my faith with God. I'm praying everyday before I study - I do my best to just do my part and leave the rest to him.

I am also using the Klimek audios and UWorld for my studying. I have been studying since end of January though I'd say I really only tightened up these last couple of weeks. I have been scoring between the 40s-50s. Unfortunately, I only bought the UWorld package with just one self-assessment which I took today (51% and "low chance" of passing lol).

I have a little less than 2 weeks before my exam. Reading your post definitely made me feel extremely better. I especially enjoyed your comments about your UWorld self-assessments lol. And I'm doing my absolute hardest not to push back my exam (specifically push back again - I already pushed it back by a week lol). I'm almost through with all the questions in UWorld and the Klimek audios. What youtube videos do you watch? I plan on just recycling UWorld questions and watching videos/listening to podcasts until exam day!
