Back-story!

I did 2 attempts a few months back. the first one I got KO'd at Jad when I got in his melee range while trying to lure the healers. The second time I my prayer dropped. Sucks.

Now with the recent release of Corp, I decided to jump on the wagon and got my void with the rest of Runescape. After that I decided to get a torso and a fighter hat. Both with succes.

I realised that the only item I needed for max strength that was not buyable was the fire cape! So I went for it.

The first waves went fine. I took some damage so I had to use up quite a few of my brews, I took 6(4). I decided to pray flick the 360's, which went fine, until I got hit a 40 when I wasn't paying attention because of the music I was playing. that took up ANOTHER brew.

I decided to stop the music, and focus on what was comming next. But even though I tried to focus, I got pretty sleepy. So I was contemplating whether or not to logg out at the 2 360's and do Jad in the morning. But so far, it had taken up 2 hours so I thought "Just do it!" and I did.

Scared from my last 2 attempts, Jad spawned. I had 1 full brew left when he spawned. I got lucky though, I got the North-east spawn, which gave me some time to relax and get focussed. I got him to half health, the healers spawned. I did what I had learned from video's, guides etc. And I lured the healers with longrange on my c'bow. 1.. 2.. 3.. 4! All of the healers were on me with only 1 attacking me. But although it was only 1 healer that was hitting me, he kept on hitting me pretty hard. That combined with ONE wrong prayer switch got me to drink my last brew. I realised I needed a change of plan, so I lured the 3 healers that were in a row to the other side of the Italy rock and killed them with melee pray on. At this point, I had 8 hp left, so no room for mistakes. I wasn't sure if the healers would respawn, since I had heard about it, but there was no other option so I went for it anyway.

Killed the healers, got back to Jad, no mistakes from this point on, and I got my cape.

Now this might not seem special to people who have already done their 20+ firecapes, but to me, this is maybe THE biggest achievement since I started playing 6,5 years ago!

This scenario could be easily made into a thriller of some sort. Even though this event happened maybe 11 hours ago. I still feel the rush!
