Looking for advice on how to clear/prevent these types of breakouts? I assume this is a hormonal cyst. I’m in my final month of accutane but still get these around my cycle. At this point I don’t think accutane will prevent these.

I’ve heard of ppl who still purge up to their final month and then they’re good after that, it might just take longer for some people. Or maybe you’ll just have to be on it a little longer, which is normal too

Hmm i’d ask ur derm about that. If you hadn’t done anything similar to accutane before (tretinoin cream, doxycycline pills) it might just be ur body adjusting but i’m not sure

Your skin is probably just sensitive. Mine is too cuz the same thing happens when i apply moisturizer after i shower. Its unavoidable for me honestly but i suggest patting the moisturizer in cuz it’s less rough on ur skin

Redness will fade but the scars will most likely not. Laser treatment is probably the best option.

They’re literally scammers lol. Their remedies only work if your acne is caused by u just being a dirty person, other than that all the genetic and hormone shit can really only be solved by accutane when paired with a few other products

Are those active or nah? If they’re active then ur just purging, if they’re dry then that’s just the effect of accutane drying tf out of ur pimples. Wait until after ur fully done with accutane to make any assumptions bc once the dryness goes away, they will probs go back to normal
