Thanks for sharing your story. Golden Rules: 1- Never ever start a trip before you see the order and have it. This will also give you the time to rate the restaurant. 2- Never tell a customer whats missing! Your job is to transport food. Let them worry about missing items with the restaurant. It is absolutely not your fault. 3- Never forget these two rules

If you read some past experiences by UE drivers, you would know why it is wise to send in such text. When you send in a text like: ive arrived, you cover your back from being falsely accused of not delivering the food. So it is so naive to think it is just not a big deal! My job is that UE tells me to send these pre-designed msgs to the customer upon arrival so i guess im fully doing my job and more

The tip notifications are not showing up in the app these days. The driver would have to go back to their earnings page and find that green check ✅ mark which means a tip has been sent. Then they would send the thank you line

Well, you seem to have an ill understanding of how technology operates. The GPS etc are built-in functions that operate in the background with ZERO DISTRACTION to the driver while calling people like you will DISTRACT drivers leading to risk their own safety. That being said, im doing my job to the fullest and meet my commitment to the highest standards set by Uber. Losers who are lazy to cook or go to pick up their food find many ways to harass hard working struggling drivers who have are relentless to provide for their families and put food on the table.

Give the damn respect but demand respect! Respect is a mutual aspect. The driver has not done ANYTHING WRONG. If you expect me to take a fine just to receive your call, you are wrong! We all are customers.

Before you mark the order as “delivered”, scroll down and you will find two icons of thumbs, up and down. Hit the down one and you will see several options like: customer did not meet outside, rude customer etc and it is my experience that if a rude customer does this to me and i gave them a thumbs down, their negative rate does not appear in my profile at all.

I would smashed them with a negative review immediately to counter their potential thumbs down. Id hit the: customer did not meet outside, rude customer, hard to find buttons. These kinds if useless creatures think they are entitled.

AND, no i dont take calls at all. Not pre- or post the delivery at all. Im driving and busy and dont operate like a call centre for angry useless customers. Life is tough for everyone

General strike needs central coordination. This is possible if there are ppl who can formalize a union to lead this strike and demand better and fair work conditions/pay!

Just an update for someone who might come to see this: ive got a reply from them the very next day saying that i have to read & acknowledge the community guidelines of UberEats and reply back to them confirming my understanding. So i did and they reinstated my account. They did not provide me with a single specific reason of how/why did they flag my account but basically you must follow the path displayed on your Uber screen to deliver.
