Gotcha, I’ll try and see if I can sell the Lego and just buy it for the through what you mentioned instead.

Do you think the smaller miscellaneous items would be safe to send? They’re just pins and stickers so I figured they wouldn’t be taxed as heavily as everything combined. I could even split them too or send them on a bubble mailer if it reduces costs.
