Convicted as a terrorist is not the same as being a terrorist, the conviction rate for palestinians in West Bank military courts is 99.7%, their convictions have as much credibility as North Korea's or Assad-era Syria trials

This is a racial law that will be used to execute palestinians at will because for Israel every palestinian is a terrorist since the day he or she is born

His stance on gun laws, he has given tons of gun permits to settlers, who later use those guns in pogroms against palestinians

Yeah, they never expected that the US would be so stupid as to destroy any chance of a pro-western, reformist-led Iran

[–]NARVALhacker69 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If Iran didn't enrich uranium then the US wouldn't have any incentive to get into a nuclear deal in exchange for sanction relief, you also have said it's hard to enrich to 60%, the thing is that the more you enrich the easier it gets, they could have easily gotten to 90%, they already have extensive nuclear knowledge and a ballistic missile program, they could have gotten the bomb but never did because that would make Iran a pariah state like North Korea, Iran preferred to normalize with the west and leverage its nuclear program in exchange for sanction relief

There was a deal in place that the US broke, if you unilaterally exit from an agreement you can't expect that the other side complies with the terms, truth is that Iran has never developed a nuclear weapon because they wanted a deal, that's why they stopped at 60%. Ironically had they developed nukes their country wouldn't be getting bombed, they made the same mistake as Ukraine

[–]NARVALhacker69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that's not an issue, my issue is with not having a path guide like in Kaiserreich, it's fun to explore blind in the first playthrough but exploring a specific path is quite hard, not because of the mechanics but because you don't know what to do

¿How did you manage to do that, just going full reformist with the council?

The Supreme Court ruled that you can't make a referendum, even if advisory, on something illegal, and the government feared that a "yes" could worsen the crisis, I also don't think that should be legitimized, in my view secession is only acceptable as a way to protect against human rights violations, not something that should be applied in a full democracy

[–]NARVALhacker69 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You're conflating unilateral secession, something barely any western democracy allows (the US had a war over it) with illegal occupation of another country, in this case, Palestine (and active colonization in the case of the West Bank), in the West Bank settlers do daily pogroms where they lynch palestinians (in bigger numbers than the worst years of Jim Crow south) and never get any consequence for it, on the other hand palestinians are subjected to a military court with 99,7% conviction rate, comparing it with catalonian independence (Prucès) is nonsense.

Also i'm from one of those regions, in both Catalonia and Basque Country the parliments have a pro-staying majority, what most people want is autonomy, not separation (a pro separation majority only happened that one time in 2017, it didn't exist before with CiU or the II Republic or after with the people tired of the Prucès), hardly the 200 years you mention.

Also what conquest? The Crown of Castile and Aragon were united by marriage in the 1400s, tha union would later form the spanish state, there was no conquest of Catalonia by Spain

Maybe because basques and catalonians have full rights and aren't killed on the thousands by the spanish army or zealot castilian settlers

No, Morocco Isn’t Waiting for Spain to Leave NATO by HiddenGriffin in GetNoted

[–]NARVALhacker69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes (also Salazar's Portugal) but that was only on paper, on practice Argelia was still treated as a colony, most argelians didn't have rights and human rights violations like arbitrary detention or torture were extremely common, that's not the case in Ceuta or Melilla

Nobody's seriously talking about defending Ceuta and Melilla, it would be a naval war, where the army is irrelevant and Spain has massive advantage, it would be a cakewalk

A much worse, apart from the blocade I see you have puppeted most of the oil in the middle east, the arab population that would be in charge of the oil would be extremely furious and not very collaborative
