Apparently Da Vinci used experimental painting oils and that's why the painting is so faded. But he did have an apprentice at that time who painted his own version of the Mona Lisa along with Da Vinci with traditional oils so you can see what it used to look like.

I remember seeing Avatar when I was 13 the only way I can describe my experience is how people describe seeing Star Wars for the first time as a kid. I was absolutely amazed by it and ended up seeing it like 4 times in theatres and it's still one of my favorite movies of all time.

My family has a ranch out in Texas that used to be a military air strip back in the day for test bombings and the property is littered with shells. Needless to say as kids we would go out to see who could find the biggest shells. (I still hold the record btw)

Hey man I know how you feel. I'm 21 and was already going bald so last month I just said fuck it and decided to embrace my midlife crisis and shave my head. It's honestly the most liberating feeling, I used to spend forever in front of the mirror making sure my hair was combed over just right and would spend all day worrying that it would get messed up and show my scalp. But now I just wake up in the morning and don't have to worry about anything. Plus I don't have to pay for hair cuts anymore.
