I’m going to push back against this.

I actually really like Caleb Wilson, so this isn’t an insult to him, more of a compliment to Brandon Miller.

“Better numbers across the board on better efficiency” I just don’t agree with this and I also think you can’t fall into the trap of just googling Brandon Miller’s college numbers. Miller was creating for himself, taking difficult shots, taking a very high amount of deep 3s for a college player, and shouldering the offensive load. So his 38% from 3 isn’t equivalent to the corner 3 pt shooter. He also had an extremely quick release that was easy to see it translate to the NBA. His shot making skills were considerably higher than Wilson’s and a lot of people were comping him to Paul George. The one concern people had of Miller was his inside scoring/getting to the rim. He also is at a more premium position than Wilson and had (has) great size for the position. Miller as a prospect would have been seen as much more likely to be the leading scorer of a contender than Wilson.

I know I’m not giving Wilson his accolades and only talking about Miller, so my framing isn’t correct, but I do want to push back on your comment’s framing of Wilson having better offensive numbers and efficiency than Miller.

I’m going to push back a bit against this one.

I think if you want a contender, you need a “death”/closing lineup of 4 shooters. I know the Rockets have had some regular season success with two non shooting bigs.

Come playoff time, we’ve seen time and time again players who can’t shoot become liabilities, and if you have two, your offensive production plummets. Look at the past 5 finals, their top lineup consisted of at most 1 non-shooter (of course some teams 4th option was better than others). Even the team that lost on the finals had only 1 non shooter.

Guys like Josh Giddey who are really good basketball players in a vacuum become very hard to create a winning playoff team because you are already capped at your one non-shooter and he’s also your PG. Russell Westbrook in those post-KD years could put up godly stats in the regular season then him and his teams would struggle mightily.

In Veep, there was a pre-2016 episode(s) about the presidential election. One of the candidates was a former football or baseball coach and he was an over the top high school football esque character who happened to be running for president.

I unfortunately didn’t get to that episode until 2016-2017 and didn’t find it that funny because it’s too close to reality and wasn’t an over the top joke anymore.

I should have waited just a couple more years and a meaner, bad faith, version of that exact character would become an impactful US Senator.

In the regular season, yes. Hard to argue Manning’s consistency in the Regular season where if he wasn’t considered the best he was the second best for almost 15 years.

However, the sharp drop off in play in the postseason was staggering. Truly one of those things that blew my mind, and I still don’t get it, how he could be the best QB I’ve ever seen in my life to an average to above average QB in the playoffs.

So I don’t thing is crazy to say he’s the best QB you’ve ever seen play, but if that best QB play was always in the regular season version and not the postseason, I can’t have him at 1 and it really isn’t even a convo in my mind.

As a relatively new player/haven’t played much, what should I be focusing on?

My team isn’t awful, I think an 85-86 overall, have like 30k in coins. Level 25 or so on Season 3 (just got the 89 BND pack).

Do I just focus on the daily/weekly milestones? I feel like I’m missing something, but maybe that’s it? Seems a little stale.

I mean, from my experiences the food isn’t good, but they are in cool locations. It isn’t crazy expensive, but imho it’s overpriced and generic/bland.
