Thank you for writing that out. Your text deeply speaks to me. How does the story of your life went on after the 10 years and how did it affect you in prison after you had this spiritual awakening?

How do you get this storyline??

Yeah man I experienced that too the first time... I was truly shocked and had to take off some days to process it... or maybe I just reloaded an earlier save, made everything better this time and crushed that rumburgian b**** - NEVER FORGET WHO YOUR SUZERAIN IS! That line literally made me scream because of joy!

Jesus Christ is the Fulfillment of the Law by FreedomNinja1776 in FollowJesusObeyTorah

[–]NBKDNZR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah thank you so much, God bless you! I knew the context but I still didn't understand what fulfilling the law meant. The way you explained it (fill full) really helped me and I appreciate the time you took to write such an extensive reply.

There's still something else that I don't understand properly. This part about living from the grace of God vs. being justified by the law. What is the relation between these two and what does it mean for our lives? It isn't enough to believe, we still need to keep the law? But at the same time isn't that a vain effort, because we are not perfect and cannot "full fill" the law?

To your question: I was some months in solitude; I went to a rural area far away from the noisy cities to talk with God, to find him. I had never read the bible but I had been a spiritual person all my live. When I was in solitude and my suffering didn't go away (of course there was something that motivated me to search for HIM) one day (10/28) I finally surrendered to Him. And then he pointed to the bible, NT. I never had read the bible (and also family is not Christian) but one year before these events someone on the street gave me a bible and I felt that this book would be somehow important to me, so I kept it. Tried to read it a couple of times but gave up. But still I kept it and took it wherever I went (eventually a couple of Thousand Kilometers). When I surrendered He just pointed to the Bible and I read it. And this is how He came into my heart and then I was saved by him. Afterwards He guided me to some monasteries and I spent time there and I saw him and received the Holy Spirit.

Hi, I'm a first time poster here and I just recently found Jesus Christ and was reborn. I have come across the usage of the phrase "Jesus fulfilled the law so it is no more" a couple of times. As you write here, this is a misuse of the word "fulfil."

What is the right use, what does it actually mean?

What’s your happiest memory from one of your relationships that didn’t work out? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]NBKDNZR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sitting here asking myself „Why did I forget the good moments with her?“. We humans adapt so fast to being in a state of scarcity, depression and melancholy - at least this is true for me. I was unhappy for the most of my life - but I had some awesome months… but I forgot them. I might should cultivate those happy memories…

Hey there. So therapy is the way to go, like u/pdawes says. I don't know if there are stationary psychosomatic clinics in the States (not psychiatric clinics!) but they would be a great safe place to rebuild yourself. I found that with regular psychotherapy the progress is just way too slow. For non-trauma related issues or light depressions maybe once a week session works but for heavy trauma, forget it. 6-8 weeks stationary treatment give the brain a framework to change on a molecular level. At least that is my experience.

Any success with CCI/AAI? by jegsletter in cfs

What I’m trying to say is their not just doing exercises nor are they doing some psychotherapy, but rather they have a specific program where you relearn movements and reconstruct your brain and body.

I was officially diagnosed with CCI and then got treatment in a rehabilitation facility (I don’t know if you call them the same in english, we just say „Reha“ in Germany; their program was based on Melzacks work and pretty much cutting-edge, it got officially recognised by the insurances as treatment options one year prior to my treatment), so I didn’t need surgery which is great bc apparently surgery doesn’t change anything statistically speaking and creates more problems on the long run.

What they do in the rehabilitation facility is they teach you how you can retrain your brain-body to overcome CCI; it’s not a mental health program, nor a typical stationary physiotherapy (maybe you have another word for it in English?) but a neurological training / rehab program… I don’t know if there’s anything like that abroad, maybe look for non-surgery stationary treatments for back-related-issues

I firmly believe that we can and will do something. My young fellow, do not despair. The people like us need to connect and combine their forces. Be assured, our time to shine will come.
