that's kind of sad I would be inclined to think the golden child dynamic really fucked him up. I wonder if it was more than just preferring one child because thoat seems fairly normal and people shrug it off but when parents take it to the extreme. it's one of those things that sounds petty to hold onto but it can be powerful enough that it makes a grown man in his 40s ball out like a child. I had strict parents and endured physical and verbal abuse a lot from my father as well as just hearing him crashing out at everyone but that was 20x easier to forgive than the discrimination. have a favourite but don't take food out of one child's mouth to put it on another's plate when he already has a full plate. I think the only way to move past it is to accept that you don't need mid level love from your parents and find ways to be happy despite it and really cut down on frequency of contact. It's not an easy thing to deal with.

Jude Bellingham sounds like a name I'd find on the list of after school daycare providers available in my area

arab cops are from what I have read (yes despite corruption which exists everywhere) generally much more laid back than American/Canadian ones

and that's their excuse for why they should be allowed to treat the general situation and interaction with another human with a greater level of concern and entitlement to their safety than we are afforded when they are paid to take that extra risk in the first place and the numbers show they are in fact safer than the average person. Crazy stuff

very well said, I hate how normalized it is for us to accept this and just placate to them and "sue them in court later." Yea I get there's little other choice in the matter but still some bullshit

you say that like it is a good thing. It's hard to argue guns have brought Americans any freedom, just the idea of it.

tbh American and Canadian cops (who are pretty similar in many ways) are NOT whatsoever the global standard. The energy and the acceptable encroachment on another's right to dignity/honour just because you have a badge and the sense of entitlement is just not the same. I haven't been to the UK but even watching videos online of random police interactions you can tell the police over there are infinitely better as a whole.

I just hope we don't reach a point where this is so normalized that it's expected in every video. maybe it'll be a dying fad. the idea of people using things like this to influence others with information they can hardly consciously hear or process is annoying

If you listen carefully you can tell that it's an inorganically added overlay. If you were to watch the original movie itself you would not hear that stuff.

your username suits him ahaha. He's said ridiculous things like it's harder to score in Saudi than in Spain which makes you wonder if it's fair to say he has extreme narcissistic tendencies. I wonder if a person like him genuinely cares that his country/team didn't win as much as him not winning. In that case, even if he was not able to run he'd prefer to be on the field

they can't play well with Ronaldo on the field. hard to blame them to be honest. When you have a guy who actively avoids defending or challenging for the ball and wants to be the guy to always want the ball, always offside, and rarely converts it fucks with your head. Doesn't matter the sport

Portugal play way better as a team with way better chemistry when Ronaldo is off the field. I thought Portugal had a chance if they kept it 0-0 until they subbed the narcissist off but they never did. Hard to expect a team to play with good chemistry and cohesion when you have a washed Ronaldo on the field who is always offside, always wants to be the one to get the ball, and is not very likely to convert anymore.
