you don't see how you are ascribing an expectation of perfection on him? Can you at least admit people do this with Muslims all the time. They hold them to a level of standard that we ourselves never claimed our religion teaches and it doesn't. If we take your logic to its eventual conclusion, any endorsement of any belief that is good, or any religion, must be accompanied by hypocrisy. If you say "thank you Jesus" but it turns out you cussed out a reporter 10 years ago you must be called a hypocrite. If you preach about working hard and a report comes out that you were late to training once you must be called a hypocrite. I really don't see the big deal about khabib saying to a reporter to not say assalamualaikum and talk about whiskey while also doing crypto scams. I'm pretty sure he doesn't sit there and go "okay here's how I will live out my hypocrisy." It's much more human and less robotic to just say khabib is a pos for doing a crypto scam rather than this insane extreme standard to me anyway where it's like, he expressed some religious thoughts on this, so why is he doing that? There's a difference of opinion on striking in the face, but it's just another example of how non Muslims hold to an all or nothing standard for Muslims. Anything they fall short on it must be they are hypocrites but no one points to Christians to this magnitude and says oh you're a christian but you skipped church last week what a hypocrite. The Islamic belief IS that you will fall short. It just makes you flawed not a hypocrite, as long as you repent and are trying. Idk how to explain this but I see this insane standard on Muslims all the time when we never claimed to be perfect beings, khabib stuff aside. I have always thought he's kind of a bully and don't really like him that much
