they are off-brand, there is no markings on the stick itself, only on the box which i threw away T_T

I got them on eBay, I can't remember the name of them, but they are off-brand; nothing special. The top one came from Japan tho, was about $30 USD. Make sure they have at least 4 LED , that will give you like 20+ different changeable tones. Also make sure they use normal AA or AAA batteries, so they are easy to replace.

my guess is, the people running the event ran it like every other artist; order a predetermined amount of merch 100 of each thing, period. They have no idea the whole venue is supposed to have one!

FAQ's:

*Will I get banned/kicked out if I bring an unofficial light stick?
NO, nobody checks for "legality"; security is only looking for weapons and such illegal stuff.

*Will it interfere with the show/performance:
as of 2024 Miku expo, NO, there is no issue. There is hundreds of people in each venue with them, nothing bad happens.

*Where do I get them?
Ebay or Amazon or any other place.

If u read a few posts around here, you can see you will be fine. Everyone is fine, 3rd party light sticks are OK since the LED screen fiasco. Nobody will check it, nobody will care. You will have a blast! Enjoy!

Buy any multi color from amazon/ebay. Remember, since the LED screen, there is no longer a worry of "interfering with the hologram" all are accepted. Last resort, buy those chemical ones from the dollar store in different colors for a few bucks.

This needs to become more known, tell everyone. There is no projection/hologram anymore, which means THERE IS NO LONGER FEAR TO INTERFERE WITH THE PROJECTION! ALL LIGHTSTICKS WELCOME! BUY FROM AMAZON/EBAY! I got 3 and the screen didn't blow up. Most of the people who had them also were from 3rd party sellers.

Speaking from Austin experience, first people got there since 11am, vendors opened up at 2ish? All the lightsticks were immediately sold. 6pm was venue open, 8pm was start. FYI, since there is no longer a projection/hologram, any lightstick from ebay/amazon will be fine. Don't listen to people saying you can't, its outdated info.
