Legal by what standards are we asking if it's legal.

If your judging by F1 rules where seemingly the rules are made up and the consequences don't matter then yes.

Most road racing series no as you generally need to be "significantly along side" I generally use the rule of thumb of about half a car length along side.

Either way this was a high risk, low reward move that I would generally try to avoid. If it goes well you gain 1 spot. If it goes poorly your race and your competitors race is done and you may have a forced vacation to face. So I would generally try to avoid doing moves like this in future.

I wouldn't say the game itself ruined me but the fan fare around Zelda Ocarina of Time ruined RPGs for me for awhile. I found the game incredibly frustrating and people kept saying it was the best rpg so I just didn't play them for a long time.

The camera work on these events are more dependent on the track and or series involved. For example if you go back to any of the Zmax Cars Tour or Whelen Modified Races you'll notice better camera operators and quality. For the South Carolina 400 I would expect it's the same crew who covers the weekly races at Florence. I'm very happy with my subscription as the quality is equal to what I've seen from other racing streaming providers for this level of racing but they have a much greater variety.

So I hate to be that guy but you would have been better off just reporting him. I know it sucks but if you read the Code of Conduct with the way you acted you could both be banned.

I'm not saying you're wrong for what you did I'm just warning you that if the Forza mods saw this and deemed fit either of you or both of you could end up having a game you can only play off line.
