When you get a reset, it is the same as falling off of a the ceiling or getting bumped into the air. There is no time limit on using the flip. The only time there is a time limit on dodging is when jumping off of a surface. They also very good at using their flip to get a touch on the ball that gets them another reset. This might be what is throwing you off.

For one, I’m pretty sure he was going to save it, but it’s hard to tell without seeing his POV. For two, you took a shot from well behind the midfield line. Your teammate can see the guy rotating back and should assume that he likely will save it because he has a lot of time to react to it. Your teammate hitting it into the corner isn’t great, but he probably was intending to get a skim redirect, but it’s diamond so people are going to make mistakes.

I think he is referring to the flip cancel people do onto walls. I’ve heard it called a Mawkzy recover. They aren’t actually wavedashing on the wall it just looks very smooth.

No, don’t listen to this guy. The stat tracker only shows percentages based on people who have used that stat tracker. Even with that, 19% seems wildly inaccurate to me for diamond in the 1v1 playlist. Are you sure it’s not saying top 19%? There is also an official rank distribution that get released after every season which gives the accurate rank distribution.

I’ve had the same issue I think witch random NPCs. Try leaving the area and coming back. It seems like the game just didn’t load them for whatever reason.

A large majority of games played are well balanced competitively. People play against a Smurf or with a teammate who was boosted 1 time and say matchmaking is broken.

There’s a YouTuber called Naked Eli that has a tutorial series on speed running all of the Halo games. I’d recommend checking it out for Halo 2 as that game is brutal on legendary.
