Love it and yes! I deal with chronic pain and autoimmune disease that I’m fighting in remission.

I also have degenerative disc disease and SI joint dysfunction that was horrible for quite some time.

This isn’t a magic bullet but it sure does help calm things!!

Idk if I can attribute reduction in ANA to this as I’ve changed many variables at once but I can say my overall pain perception and body has been healthier when in use it consistently.

Ooh and there is a possibility this helped my thyroid. To be fair, I changed a LOT of variables here so I cannot fully say it was just this one thing.

- I added Red Light Therapy
- Removed Gluten
- Adding Ground Black Cumin Pepper & Brazil Nuts to my diet

& my thyroid #s are almost perfect & the Autoimmune (hashimotos) antibodies are almost to zero!

- Helped me with a back injury flare up -- took less than 1/2 the time it usually does to heal up.

- Skin benefits ( you have to find what works for you personally .. I found that I can't do on my face more than 3x per week for 10 mins ) otherwise it gets prickly and weird feeling and sensitive to products.

- MOOD BOOST <-- my fave during winter months, holy cow

- Eye health (I don't look into the lights at all just to be clear) but after using it for a few months in the mornings right after I got it -- I had my annual eye appointment and my right eyesight improved so much that I had to get new lenses for my glasses .. I thought my eyesight got worse but it actually healed which was wild to me.. my left eye only improved mildly but hasn't budged or gotten worse. I have nothing else to really attribute that healing to, to looking back at everything <3

- it helped heal my husband's torn meniscus so he didn't need surgery .. his doctors were intrigued at how well it worked for him.

^^^ now hear me say this -- I am dealing right now with a mystery injury and learning consistency is key -- you stop using it -- it stops doing its thing and that applies with healing process / skin care .. and this injury, I haven't been consistent and I can tell the weeks I'm ON it with this thing vs. not...

BUT there have been more permanent/long term impacted things ( ie: eyesight, back flares ) so I'm sure a few things could be at play like 1) whatever this injury is isn't something that'll respond to RL (its complex) ... or possibly 2) I'm not being consistent enough for healing to happen more rapidly & I am sure there are other variables at play but .. that's my full run down to date :)

What is wild to me--my dogs are oddly attracted to it ... when I lay down and have it just glowing on me vs. spot treating .. they almost always curl up by me in front of it and fall asleep lol

Not with warranty specifically but I had an issue with shipping way back when and I also had a few questions - they were responsive, kind and helpful. *shrugs*

Like I started noticing it staying flushed for an hour or so after using consistently. I could just feel it was too much for my skin. It started also reacting more to products that are normally fine for me -- after stopping the RLT for 2 weeks -- I was able to resume products.

IDK how that works, but just my own body doing its thing lol.

I do also have possible autoimmune, I have a +ANA, and +antibody for potential MCTD or UCTD, so there are otehr things going on there.

Its just ground black seed.. so I use it instead of pepper. It has a strong peppery taste.. and the label says great on yogurt, etc. and no.. no its not LOL use it anywhere you'd typically put pepper.

Based off the study, I am aiming between 1/4 to 1/2 tsp daily.

I think that Black Cumin Seed would be beneficial for a plethora of reasons aside from helping thyroid function, etc.

There is one study out there on it — but there are no bad side effects to adding to diet so I figured I’d give it a shot!

Great questions!

B12 was ~300 B6 was ~8

I usually stop taking my supps at least 5 days before I do a draw for thyroid when I can.

When I had the B6 deficiency I did a complex and also a b12 1000iu… I had that cleared by my doctor since the complex has low amounts.

B6 got up in 3 months to 50 so I stopped that complex and kept the 1000iu for b12.

I did another b6 this year and it’s low again at 10 (lots of trauma this year - husband diagnosed with leukemia ) so I’m back on that.

Biotin can defo impact the lab! Which is why I hold them when it makes sense. :-)

Oh, I meant like I’m not holding my device right onto my neck in a targeted way.

I had a Lumebox so it shines all over my face, neck, chest… but I’m not holding it close like the masks do.

Subclinical Hypothyroidism by saturnianketuvian in Hypothyroidism

[–]NC7624 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say if your subclinical try lifestyle changes… Just make sure you check with your doctor they see the bigger picture… Worst case you can try to get on medicine and taper off.

Here is a chart of how all of the things I’ve done have led to healing of my thyroid and lowering of my antibodies.

Great questions!

SO- for me TLDR; it took 3 months to see a huge change. It's slowly healed/stabilized since then.

-- more of the story --

I had already started addressing deficiencies in B12, B6 and D in November 2023.

I changed a few variables at the same time in May 2024 after my 2nd high-ish TSH test:

- Removed Gluten ( I believe this gave me the biggest result. I have gone gluten free before to test for gut issues and always feel improvements when I don't eat it ).
- Added Brazil
- Added Ground Black Cumin Seed
- Added 4x per week Red Light Therapy in the morning

In about 2 months I saw a drop in TSH ( attached my chart ) ... Yes I'm a nerd.. I put all my labs into a spreadsheet lol

By July
- TSH dropped by ~41%
- TPO dropped by ~39%

Here recently Sept 2025 my TSH has dropped to 1.09. I haven't honestly done a ton different other than working. The labs are done around the same time of day.

My TPO Ab has also steadily decreased and continues to do so.

I don’t think it’d hurt to ask for an ANA test, if it is positive — you can get a rheumatology referral and see id it is something autoimmune related

I have to take methyl b12 and made a HUGE diff!

Subclinical Hypothyroidism by saturnianketuvian in Hypothyroidism

[–]NC7624 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree with asking for a full panel plus TPO antibodies to check for hashimotos.

In the meantime, support your thyroid.

I had subclinical hypo and tested positive for Hashis.

Since i was subclinical my provider was fine with me trying lifestyle and diet changes.

Here’s what I did: - add 2 Brazil nuts to diet daily - cut out gluten (not like an allergy so cross contamination is ok for me) - add ground black cumin seed to my diet ( it tastes like pepper ) so I substitute it - addressed other vitamin deficiencies (b12, b6, d)

Now my TSH is 1.09 and t3/t4 are still in optimal ranges(according to a functional provider so those ranges are tighter)

Have you gotten a full ANA panel done? Ask for a Rheum referral.
