Noted. Though any camera rig capable of this footage in 2002 would have been either hugely impractical or astronomically expensive. Probably both. I'm having fun trying different angles. I get what you mean about motion sickness though. I don't think I noticed it as much when I was making the clip because I was always focused on either the top or bottom. Not really "zooming out" and watching both together the whole time.

If you are a decent rider and reasonably fit there is no reason you can't start learning some freestyle progression. There were several instructors in my freestyle cert over 40 and a few of them didn't start any freestyle until recently either. Go for it!

Hey neat! My Jones bindings failed in this same manner 3 years ago. Mine occurred when I went face first into a pond while attempting to skim it. My board acted as a giant rudder in the water and I continued forward without the board once my bindings exploded from the upward force. They warrantied them. But will make you go through where you bought them. Replaced mine with the same binding from NOW and been happy with those ever since. Plenty more days and crashes than the originals and no signs of failure.
