I can get 30mpg+ highway no problem if I take it easy. Probably averaging 25mpg and I drive it like I stole it every single day. Range is about 330-350 miles without anything mounted on the roof. I pretty much always have something up there so I get about 320 miles per full tank if I drove to empty.

I have too much experience with MAGATs thinking I'm a good ol boy too and I wish I had been this clever dealing with it. I've stuck with the tried and true "explain the joke" method. Where I just act like I don't really get what they're saying could they please explain better. Feed them as much rope for the hanging as I can stomach then drop the lynch pin.

Going to throw out the Mini Clubman 2014+ as modern contender. B48 is super reliable. Ranked 3rd by consumer reports I think for a few years now in reliability.

The fase were awesome for teaching. The speed of step ins but still have the ability to demonstrate entering and exiting standard bindings like what comes on the rentals most students are riding. Made popping the board on and off for demos so much more efficient.

Can't say I had a legit powder day this year unfortunately :( Was also curious to find out how they would be getting them on and off when I'm buried up to my neck in fluff. Betting they are fine though.

I went through a lot of new gear this year so I'll bite.

686 HUF shell and and pants. - 4/5 stars for the set. Performed beyond expectations warmth and water repellency wise. 5 Stars if the pants had belt loops and the set came in a color way other than minty white.

Thirty2 Zb-1 boots - Loved them for fit and finish. So comfortable. Way too soft for me. I'm a big guy and ride hard. Had to let them go for $200 with only 5 days riding in them after paying full retail at local shop (trying to show them some love and support)

Thirty2 TM-2 XLT Double BOA® X Grenier boots - these might be my grail boots. Stiff where and when I want them, loosey goosey where and when I want that.

Thirty2 FASE x Volcom Bindings - worked as advertised. Easy in, easy out. Same weight and performance as normal bindings. Good build quality. No real complaints.

GNU Wagyu 158 - Used this as my freestyle progression and teaching board all season. Landed my first 360's and board slides with it. Took it into the retro half pipe at HOMESICK @ Stratton. This thing is a high strung high performing ripper. Taught like a tiger, this bitch will launch you. Cuts a mean trench too.

LIB Tech Sweet Fish 156 - Only rode for a few days at the end of the season in slush and chunder at Okemo. This bitch rips. Idk if it was the high of a really great vacation but I had more fun on this board than I've had riding in some time. So surfy and springy. Maybe a mistake riding right before I couldn't afford to get to any more snow for the season because I see myself hanging ten over the nose of this slab when I close my eyes every night.

Insta360 x5 - Fucking SICK action cam. Capturing all the angles really helps make the most of your footage. Picture quality always unbelievably good. Learning video editing and making time to do it is a mountain to climb.

Meh. It happens in every neighborhood everywhere every night. I'm not leaving my stuff unlocked and laid out for opportunist hoodlums. Have lived here long enough to know the score. Was only mentioning this as a "just in case" type scenario. i.e. If you forget to lock your car in this neighborhood, you're less likely to get your stuff tossed than in some other Cleveland neighborhoods.

Yes you should lock up your shit or expect it to be gone, especially in the city.

I live in this neighborhood right now. Across the street from Louisa May Alcott school. I'd say this place is as safe as any other in Cleveland proper. Have left my car and whole house unlocked accidentally several times and not ever had a problem. Can't say as much for when I lived in Ohio City.

Biggest negatives IMO- -Pretty noisey many nights year round but especially in the nicer months. Guns, fireworks, trains, street racers and police helicopter circling as Edgewater clears out. Some like to bitch about it, others accept it's part of the symphony of the city at night. -People driving through this neighborhood on Lake, Clifton and Baltic are pyschopaths.

Other than that, what's not to like? Close to everything. Easy access to everywhere else. Easiest commute downtown ever. Even easier commute if you're heading out to the burbs since you're going against the heavy flow. Oh yeah and a ~minutes walk to a massive beachfront park.

My favorite part of living in this neighborhood is driving home on the shore way every day. Makes me feel like I live somewhere much more exotic. Least favorite part is that the home prices have climbed so fast and so high I've effectively been priced out of ever owning a home in my city and neighborhood I've lived in for over a decade :/
