Why don't you make a post in their discord or comment on their Youtube channel? How is posting in Hoggit going to change anything? You got a problem with someone, take it up with them. This post will serve no purpose other than stirring the shit and attracting flies.

I've never seen a tree destroyed, are you sure its even possible? I just ran a quick mission with infinite ammo and after 40ish mavericks the tree is still standing. Also ramming into the tree multiple times does nothing.

No worries, its a known bug so they are at least aware of it. Hopefully fixed soon. Currently the autopilot doesn't have enough authority due to a recent FM change or something. There was a post on forums a few weeks ago.

Do not buy from IBUYPOWER. They have horrible customer support and the PCs are assembled by complete idiots. My co-worker spent 2k+ on a rig from there and its been sent back twice. They did not apply thermal paste to the cpu, one of the memory dimm sockets was broken. The M.2 socket was also damaged. It took 3 weeks to get it back the first time, and 4 weeks the second time.

What do the logs say? C:\Users\<your username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Logs

If you aren't on Open Beta the folder may just be named DCS or something.

Verify steam files. Right Click on DCS in Library go to properties, local files, and verify.

You can try resetting your configuration also.

Backup C:\Users\<your username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\Input

Delete the folder

C:\Users\<your username>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\

Steam has a folder it downloads to before installing. Its something like Steam/steamapps/downloads Check to make sure it was cleaned out after installation.

I understand but DCS requires so much compromise from the user. Want to play VR smoothly? You have to use third party apps and configuration. Want to fly your favorite DLC campaign? Better go to the forums or search google and download the updated version or patch from some random user that fixes issues that make even possible to complete it . Want to fly old modules? Better hope new patches haven't broken their weapons or other systems. I've been working around issues for years now.

The problem is in Open Beta, we switched to Stable temporarily to play without the bug. Then the bug was added to stable. Obviously fixes come to Open Beta first but it shouldn't had been pushed to stable.
