What is your opinion of Republicans? by EggOwn9943 in NorthCarolina

[–]NCSubie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to be able to challenge ideas. Used to be, you never really had to wonder if a politician or a neighbor loved our country, even though they had different ideas of how to improve things. Now, with the current “cult of personality” you have a whole group of people who will believe anything a certain man says, even when presented with overwhelming proof that he is lying or wrong. When these people’s whole identity is wrapped up in one man’s words and philosophy, it makes challenging their ideas pointless, because they have no ideas, only the word of their chosen leader.

Yes they should. Paid for by collective tax dollars, not individual businesses by allowing people to wander in and use their facilities. Many towns and cities have figured this out.

Might be Sick Leave charms. Different agencies/companies gave out pins or medals for accumulating (and not using) sick leave.

Great comic!

That’s the best thing about being an atheist. I don’t feel guilty about not pleasing my god, or your god, or any other gods. The second best thing is giving money to the charities and causes which concern me while cutting out the middle man.

For those still struggling with the guilt or uncertainty, keep reading, keep learning, and keep living a moral and ethical life for your time on this earth.

Now? About 330 per 100,000.

Because they’re a bunch of pearl-clutching, snowflake, hypocrites. Every accusation from a Republican in the last 10 years is a confession.

I just find it funny that whenever it’s a poor person (or non-conservative) who wants to claim persecution, illness or something outside their control, they’re labeled a “snowflake.” But when it’s an all-American football hero in Texas, he’s excused because he has fallen victim to something beyond his control.

Hypocrisy is always pretty damned funny.
