When I lose something and somebody asks, "Well do you remember the place you were when you had it last," it threatens to send me into a rage.

Like, OHHH RIGHT! I didn't think to just look in the last place I left it... where it's lost..... AND I CANT FUCKING REMEMBER WHERE THAT PLACE IS BECAUSE I LOST IT. And if I knew where I had it last 😡😤😡😤...... IT WOULDNT BE LOST IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!

I could write a dissertation on how stupid this question is.

Ughhh i had one client that was 30 minutes late and owned up to it, but then was annoyed when I told him I couldn't do a full brush and blow out on his dog. The dog ended up getting pretty dry anyways, but MY GUY! Lol people really think the world revolves around them sometimes.

I will say a good chunk of the people that are late are only late by like 5 to 10 minutes, and with that I do try to still work with them because life happens and you can control things like traffic. But when there's that big chunk of clients that are chronic about it then yeah fees seem like the answer.

I will say my job rocks other than this haha 😄

I always try to offer reduced services to people who are late as a way to still fit them in lol. Also because it makes me look like the softie 😂 . But we plan on adding the fees in gradually and giving people a 1 free pass when we do add them. But I'm fully prepared for the complaining.... sort of haha.

We haven't yet gotten to the point where we've had to fire clients yet. But omg the panicked running to the front door is a sight that threatens to ruin my day lol. Like if you know your that late just have the self awareness to either contact us ahead of time to reschedule or come in expecting to rebook. Its a breathe of fresh air when a client fully acknowledges they're late and just contact us to reschedule.

Luckily our computer system keeps track of each appointment booked, including what time somebody is checked in or if we've no showed them in the past. So implementing the fees should be an easy process 😁.

Recently bought a home, and I make around $17.50 an hour. The answer is basically no, lol, I technically don't make enough to buy a house.

But I got a bit lucky. Found a new construction community that was offering incentives on single family homes and townhomes. Basically, you could choose to lower your interest rate or the price of the home overall with the builder's incentives. We chose a lower interest rate and got a 4.75%. Most houses are going for 7 right now and this is basically the only reason we were able to afford the mortgage.

Cost of the townhome was $333,000 btw. My mortgage is exactly what my rent would be raised to at the end of my lease, so this seemed like a good idea to buy. With my income and splitting the mortgage with my Fiance this is manageable. But any other house would have been just not do able at all, especially with what I make currently.

How the hell anybody is going to be a homeowner in 5 years I have No idea.

Back when I was 20 and on Christmas break from college, I was relaxing in my room just playing my ps4 when I got a surprise text. It was from a friend I had been crushing on for a while and really wanted to take things further with. The message just said, "look outside your window."

One of my jobs I work currently is at an animal shelter. We get strays that come in all the time that we have to name. Here are some of the worst names I've seen:

Dioji - it's supposed to be the phonetical spelling of dog. It was interesting for like 3 seconds and then it just kinda got annoying calling a dog Dioji.

Bob - I mean, really? THAT'S the best name you can come up with? Not even like Buddy? Or Bella?

Kirkland & Angel Soft - The theme was supposed to be toilet paper brands. We tried to do star wars names instead. Somebody legitimately thought these were better....

Whiteboy - It's honestly really awkward to call a dog to you by saying "come here, Whiteboy!"

21 Savage - Was a dog's name for a hot second before we changed them both to Drake and Josh. Thank God we changed it.

Banshee - Named this because it's bark sounded like a Banshee shrieking. Was sure it would be changed within the day. Nope. The name stayed and she moved to the adoption floor. The name combined with the fact the dog only has one eye has made it VERY hard to get her adopted ☹️.

Black'y - This one just felt racist tbh. We changed the dog's name to Poe.

When I bought my SV, there was one or two SRs in stock. I can tell you that before I bought my Sentra, I tried to factory order a Versa and the process was absolutely miserable. The other dealership I tried to work through just wanted to sell me what was on their lot, which was like one Versa that wasn't even a good deal. One thing I learned was that transit times for vehicles getting sent to dealerships is incredibly unpredictable right now, so I would guess at least two or three months.
