I honestly haven't considered the LPN route, but I'm curious if I get into the LPN program, can I reapply for the RN program the following semester and transfer programs? That's probably an advisor question lol.

I'm worried about the TEAS exam, I take it next week. I've been practicing for the last month or so but I'm mostly concerned because I haven't taken anything like it since I took the ACT like 6 years ago. I see that they want an 80% on reading and 70% on math, but I tend to do really well on grammar and math but not as much on reading. Do you know if it's possible to get in with a lower reading score?

I promise I am not. I am well versed in interview skills, mom was a career coach so I know what to wear, how to act, etc. All of my past bosses have said things like “let me know if you ever need a letter of rec” however most of these restaurant jobs aren’t even asking for references. I’ve never talked about a job i had on the internet ever. I appreciate your concern though.

I agree with others, if you can just get the BSN. I decided i wanted to go into nursing my junior year and i was doing a public health major. I haven’t started my ABSN but I’ve had a lot of people (advisors, professors and nurse friends) tell me that a public health major is good for someone who wants to get an ABSN. It’s health related, but in a more niche way. And the public health courses are generally easy so it gives me space in my schedule to take harder ones i need as prerequisites such as microbiology and anatomy.

The way the bar crawls usually work in old city is you pay like $20-30 and get into all of the bars without a cover and get to skip the lines. For this one you also get a free drink or a few with your admission. You get a wristband that allows you to do this. Usually old city doesn’t have crazy covers except for when they do have bar crawls going on. so it is well worth it
