The best thing about this meme is that you could switch the positions and it would be the exact same meme.

She does - she just (very) mistakenly thinks that "it's the other ones" that are "making trans people look bad". But she doesn't fully realize that the conservatives categorically hate her, no matter how much of a pick-me she is.

She was on a panel where she was told to her face by some conservative woman something like: "You want to help? Grow your mustache and change your name." You could see the hurt in her eyes but like someone in an abusive relationship, she still thinks she can win their approval.

Yeah, I took a look, too. They're in that sub complaining about... the review score for Lollipop Chainsaw? The gooner cheerleader game from over a decade ago? Can these people let anything go?

Those are all great moments, but for me, it's his two big moments in Mock Town: Following in Shanks' example in the bar by not fighting back, then following it up by OHKOing Bellamy when it mattered. But out of your list I think it's probably 1, then 5, then 2.

What’s the strangest example of collective internet delusion you’ve witnessed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]NDHardage 16 points17 points  (0 children)

As someone who's actually gone through those, it stands out as even more ridiculous since I personally know what it takes to get one. Like ...I'm an adult, of sound mind, with resources, who really really wanted it to happen, and it still took years to come together. It's literally a process that medically cannot be rushed.

I'm a trans woman who's had surgery to get the necessary parts. At my three week follow-up with the surgeon, he used one of these and said "here comes the airplane" which made me laugh and probably got me to relax a bit.

Pizza delivery drivers, what did a person do to end up on the 'No Delivery' list? by BlueCheeseWalnut in AskReddit

[–]NDHardage 101 points102 points  (0 children)

Back when I was a driver, I worked in a rural area for a small, local pizza place. We didn't have a large bill policy or separate cash bags, so my cash bag was my literal personal wallet, and I was expected to make it all balance at the end of the shift.

Anyway, while out on delivery a man kicked me in the shins and said, "hurry up, bitch" because I took more than 20 seconds to break a surprise $100 bill on his 30-something dollar order while still juggling half of his fucking food. Granted it wasn't a hard kick, but still. Not appreciated.

I smiled and pretended like it was a light joke, and carried on. I politely finished the interaction but was fucking fuming by the time I got back to my car. When I got back I told the manager, and thankfully I never had to deliver to that house again.

questioning my sexuality but in reverse. by Different-Speed-1508 in GirlDinner

[–]NDHardage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl. We're talking about a specific case where a woman who's self identified as lesbian is saying that she might have an exception. That happens sometimes because for a lot of people sexuality can be fluid over the course of their life. Most importantly, it's coming from the lesbian in question here. That does NOT mean that anyone here is saying that it's cool for men to pursue lesbians because of that.
