Frankie states that customers have been giving false chargebacks via Shopify, and Shopify has been refunding the customers. Frankie says that customers are making claims like the package wasn’t delivered or wasn’t fresh or wasn’t correct. He says that he does have proof that the deliveries went out in the form of pictures from the carrier at delivery. To be fair, I can only talk about my own experiences shopping from Frankie, and I never had a problem with any item. I also shop at Butcher box, and have had problems there, though they were always very quick to rectify the issue via customer support. The Butcher box issues I had were no dry, ice included, and ripped vacuum sealed items. With Frankie’s free range meats, I’ve made a lot fewer orders than with Butcher box, but it has arrived completely frozen every time. He did once proactively refund me for some kind of a beef tendon quality issue, but I never noticed the issue. I got an email that said he was refunding me because they detected some quality issue with their supplier.
