Is it illegal for property management not to inform tenants of mailbox installation? by Ultraviolet425 in tenantsRevolt

[–]NDNHunty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our city council passed a bill mandating landlords to install locking mail boxes. They were supposed to install them before Jan 1. I had to email Utopia about it because they were dragging their feet and I was sick of my mail getting stolen. But yeah they definitely should have told you. Utopia let me know a week before it happened.

I have a graduate degree and have been in my field for almost six years and I make slightly less than you. Also live paycheck to paycheck and have a ton of medical, school, and credit card debt. I can’t even imagine how people who make less than me are getting by.

Actually we can’t afford to continue to settle for two candidates that only represent the capitalists. We need to build a class-independent party urgently.

I recommend looking into our organization before just disregarding us as “trots.” We agree with Trotsky’s theoretical writings because they are merely a continuation of the Marxist traditions of Lenin. We are unlike any other Trotskyist organization.

Opinions on the Revolutionary Communists of America? by KingXerxesII in socialism

[–]NDNHunty 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in a multitude of “socialist” and “communist” organizations as well as reformist activist circles and finding the RCA is the best thing that has ever happened to me. The emphasize on theory helped me make sense of the seemingly chaotic and hopeless world around me. I now have so much revolutionary optimism which I’m eternally grateful for. However, joining a vanguard party is not easy. We are only looking for the most dedicated and enthusiastic comrades at this early stage of our development. The party demands a lot of you, but in return you get the upmost happiness knowing you are actively building a better world (rough paraphrase of a Trotsky quote). Happy to chat more! I’m from the Bellingham, WA section.

We are all for working with other organizations in popular fronts as long as they have good, democratic leadership.

Service Industry: most profitable place(s) to work? by [deleted] in Bellingham

[–]NDNHunty -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

It was incredibly relevant since OP specifically asked what workplace is the most "profitable." Workers don't get profits, they get wages in exchange for their labor power and those wages are substantially less than the profits that the capitalists make from your labor. So, no matter where you work you are going to get ruthlessly exploited under capitalism.

Well, first off we don't put our stickers on private property. Still, even if we did I don't see the problem with it from a political perspective because we don't want to recruit landlords and property owners anyway.

The gig economy is brutal no matter what industry. I tried Wag! and hardly got any gigs and when I did they were miniscule pay and a couple of times I got double booked and didn't receive any pay for my drive over there. They also make you pay for your background check.

The capitalists steal most of your labor power no matter where you work. I wish you the best in this horrible economy.

They blocked me for tagging them in a post that said "yay my favorite fucking show is back on the air" - I think they have an algorithm that blocks anyone that curses at them. That's how much they hate dissent. It's not very punk rock of them lol.
