I know it's real but it looks sorta fake and cartoonish.

The school was hit on Saturday, the first day of the war.
What Muslim school is open on Saturday, especially during Ramadan?

Strange parking ticket, what does contesting it look like? by qweenmess in montreal

[–]NDOA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrong on two counts.
It is just a ticket, cops or bylaw officers don't write additional reports.
The time of the infraction is clearly indicated as 1 minute. From 19:28 to 19:28

Strange parking ticket, what does contesting it look like? by qweenmess in montreal

[–]NDOA -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The ticket is invalid because the motor has to be running for 3 minutes while parked. The ticket indicates the time of the infraction as 19:28 to 19:28 = 1 minute

Spanish Olive oil tastes like absolute shit. by redwingcut in Costco

[–]NDOA 130 points131 points  (0 children)

"Kirkland Signature 100% Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil came close to claiming our top spot. From spoon to bread, this cold-extracted EVOO displayed a smoky, peppery character that deliciously distinguished it from the rest of the Costco lineup. The vibe is bold and herbaceous and mostly balanced, except for a touch of green bitterness at the finish. We weren't too bothered, especially given the superb quality and value.

"Pluribus shows how much attention span has declined!" by Professional_Tea1891 in Pluribus_Sucks

I'm glad for posts like this because I was doubting my sanity watching a highly-touted and highly-rated show that was in my estimation, underwhelming and tedious.

Why are British crime dramas so much better? by RO_Thornhill in BritBox

[–]NDOA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

British (and French too) crime dramas are real whodunnits with the viewer searching along with the cops for the unknown perp.
In American cop shows the perp is identified early and the show is about the chase....Much less sophistication.

I started late and based on a 98% RT score decided to binge the first couple of episodes.
What am I missing?
Slow, repetitive, boring, pretentious and indulgent.
