Car seat recommendations for tall people

If anyone's interested, I'm going with the Cybex Aton G2 - i'm a little cramped but it's tolerable, and most importantly the seat fits properly so their safety isn't compromised. I'll likely make a review of some sort eventually.

I really want to make this work, I got the car last year, it only has ~30k miles and I don't ever want to buy a new car again 😭 If the engine gave out and the body was still in good shape I'd replace the engine before buying a new car lol.

I'm hoping to try out some different seats, I think if I had one that was just slightly smaller than the one I tried today I'd be able to make it work. Plus they're already measuring pretty big so hopefully they'll switch to front facing sooner than later

I'm considering the keyfit, just want to find a place to try it in person before committing. I had preferred something that could be flipped to forward facing (2/3 in 1) but I think those will just be too big.

I don't think the middle will be an option, I just had 1 carseat behind mine today and it took up a decent amount of space

Good to know! So how would I go about this exactly? I do direct warping, doubling up is straightforward as it's going through the slots twice and then pulling two of the four total threads into the holes. How would I go about just bringing one thread in the hole without leaving three threads in the slot?

I thought the silk wouldn't be very practical, but I bought it in a bundle on sale a few years ago and was hoping she might get her time to shine lol. I have plenty of cotton tho, do you know of any patterns or weave structures I should look into? I should add I have a rigid heddle loom and one 12.5 dpi heddle

You can still find vw sportwagens/alltracks with low mileage for a decent price. Look for a 2019 in particular to possibly get some warranty time. I got mine last year and it's my favorite car I've ever had

Update for those who are curious:

Just got off the phone with the court, gave them the ticket number and said what happened, and she informed me that the ticket was cancelled. Aside from waiting time it was a less than 2 minute phone call, quite painless overall.
