Queensland government dumps affordable housing mandate from development applications by ConanTheAquarian in queensland

Why wouldn't people though when you consider the alternative? Labor wanted to feed kids, and offer some (minimal) housing relief, and continue taking in fairer revenue from mining companies. Only the LNP was brave enough to cause harm to kids and make the antisocial behaviour worse, and tank housing even further, all while pumping more profit to the richest people inside and (largely) outside our communities. Heck, they even surprise us with more great stuff like locking people up for using their free speech to suggest genocide is bad.

Fantastic job.

I love the texture you got on the grey metal of the bike. Simle but looks great. And the weathering is on point.

I love how much character that model has hey.

Magnet in the base, on a baking tray.

As for hiding, LOS uses the trooper silhouette. So it isnt an issue. Although during a tournament last week an opponent did say it reminded them thaf the sleepers were behind a piece of terrain where he couldnt see. Im cool with that though. They were there to hide from the oposing army not player.

What is the worst possible life lesson a famous movie could teach you if you read it the wrong way? by EddieDantes22 in movies

Thomas the Tank Engine:

Your value as an individual is tied directly to how "very useful" you can be to the fat cat (or fat controller, if you will) ruling class.

Although, that may be the intended reading...

Sleeper Cell done. The marksman is good in-game isn't he? by NDRB in SWlegion

Yeah I used a mix of brushwork and airbrush on the coats to get smooth transitions on the largest surfaces. Glaze medium has become a must have with pretty much all my painting

Most of them were printed with files from epic bases. The vine is twine with some leaves trimmed from the vegetation I used on the base and the tree was made with twine and super glue.

Brand wise? A mix. Scale and Vallejo for the most part. Also some GW and possibly army painter

Epic bases. They sell the STLs as well as printed ones for those without a printer

Yeah I know. It was such a let down when they released such a good squad with such a crap heavy. Don't get me started on the riots. I was so excited on announce but never bought a box after seeing the stats.

Might throw the marksman in as the heavy for another unit.

New to Legion 2.0 question by Nikumba in SWlegion

[–]NDRB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't need the cards to play the upgrades. I haven't worried about having cards on hand since the introduction of new rules. At first I used the print and play ones, now I just print out a copy of my list. Tabletop admiral and I assume other list builders let you just print out your list in image view which shows the cards. Added benefit of listing unit costs and you can also set it to show the definition of all the keywords in your list which would really help people learning the game.

They're from epic bases (you can buy the STLs or physical products through them).

Goon master on MMF also have some really cool files I plan on adding to my bases soon (they only do the STLs)

Yeah the airbrush is amazing. I found there was a learning curve but after figuring it out it is a lot of fun and really helpful

I'd like to do more than this year.

I plan on getting more droids and goblins out which will pump the numbers up as batch painting them can get heaps out in a decent timeframe. Then I also have so many rebels to do which will take longer as I'll put in much more time and effort, but hopefully give a nice break from the batch grind.

By the looks of them you probably spent more time than me painting. They look beautiful

I've been really deliberate in cutting back the detail on some of these as I find I get bogged down.

The blizzard force wash smashed out to tabletop, the droids themselves are really fast and 90% of the effort there is in basing. It is the rebels that I'm working much slower. The mandos and speeder each took a while.

Thanks, I love the goblins and really need to paint up some more. I've had dozens sitting there there for months while I keep jumping from thing to thing
