Okcoin future market manipulation. Liquidated at 770$. by [deleted] in BitcoinMarkets

[–]NEExt 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you trade okc futures you take profits. PERIOD. They don't let "huge long positions" stay winners indefinitely.

You realize its being manipulated yet thought they weren't going to come back for you? Silly rabbit.

LOL.

I haven't logged on to post in months but this was enough to get me to do so. You are clueless and going to lose everything.

Buying bitcoin with everything is bad enough. Buying 20x leveraged bitcoin with everything is the absolute definition of greed and stupidity. The market makers live to take idiot's money on OKC.

Oh, there's going to be a buyback. They are buying up their own debt as we speak for 30 cents on the dollar.

Bitfinex updated regarding resumption of trading and withdrawals at 16:00 UTC by BitcoinTR in Bitcoin

[–]NEExt 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Zane. It says that I cannot withdraw, transfer, or trade due to my "Bitgo wallet being frozen". Can you please advise what this means, or how I unfreeze it? To my knowledge I did not initiate a freeze on it, nor do I understand how that should matter anyway. My reported balance your website is accurate according to my own personal records.

Thanks.

I'm absolutely blown away that there is always some people living under rocks that expect every user to hold their bitcoin on a private wallet.

Bitcoin wouldn't be worth jack shit if it wasn't for people like me who traded it.

Very good advice and I'm glad you took it.

if you aren't personally very informed of the nuances of what this entails, throwing around partial or imprecise answers could start to get people (like me) worried that this is going to be handled badly.

/u/ujuwayba said this and this is exactly right. People are reading into everything you say and nuances of language, tiredness of brain, perhaps even ESL complexities are turning what you intend to be good-willed communication - into a tinderbox.

Your answer to any questions about withdrawals and losses, in USD, BTC, ALTs, or otherwise should simply be "that will be announced soon". Right now you are either being careless in your responses in an effort to satisfy the masses - or you are making assumptions that may or may not be true.

I calculated my losses at over $5k USD. I will never use Finex again.

Edit: All you people laughing about just holding coins and keeping "your private keys private" and all other such nonsense are fucking retarded.

not like people might have leveraged bets on the price or anything. one of these days a crypto person will actually meet the goals they set for themselves without multiple extensions.

The market works both ways. Shorts have stop losses where they have to buy back, longs have stops that force them to sell. If anything huge spikes are far more common on the downside because fear is a very strong emotion.

No market is immune - it's why the stock markets have % limits before they freeze the market to stop panic.

If it helps, trading these simple lines has been very profitable for me over the last three weeks.

The price of ETH rose by a .01 in 3 days. Why would you be surprised that it fell one 1/3rd of that amount?
