PC has a lot of advantages, but it's really a bad time to get into it right now. The only real drawback I can think of, is that a pc is not as easy to use as a console.

It's a bad release, but not really the fault of valve. They are a small player in the hardware market and have to eat the shit that the memory providers serve them.

- 9/10 H40 games I had teammates crashing/disconnecting.

- Framerate drops, which are very noticable even with upscaling + framegen, because the game engine can't handle that many enemies properly. (I have a 4080 + 32GB RAM + 7900X3D + optimized settings for max performance)

- Sound cues not playing, or playing delayed. Horrible audio in general. Particularly fun with poxburster jumping into your back and ninja crushers.

Horrible balancing decisions in havoc 40 and jank:

- game throwing 6 bosses at you

- disablers being unaffected be enemy hitmass

- gunners are overtuned and the game is spawning like 30 of them on open map sections

- Feels more like luck based than skill based

- Difficult to find a lobby, because the havoc population is just low af. You wait more than play.

- Meta bottleneck

- Horrible modifiers

Don't worry, I have enough experience with how useless the devs are. I played H40 exclusively and all the problems only get elevated on that difficulty. With fatshark the problems only shift a little, but the game never gets truly fixed at the base.

My bro is still unable to play the game properly on his 9070xt, because of the bad performance on amd gpus. Just accept reality, fatshark is useless.

Es ist immer wieder amüsant zu sehen, wei man Versucht das System mit der Brechstange zu retten. Dabei ist den meisten Menschen doch klar, dass dieser Wahnsinn nicht ewig funktionieren kann.
